  1. The question I would like to ask you is....

Is it necessary to go up to the corolla??

I don't think resale value is any good in the corolla as there is so many 2nd hand ones for sale

If its your only car then a corolla for the extra room and practicality, if its mainly to commute to and from work then just get the yaris.

agree with this. if you are ok with a smaller car and don't actually need the size of the corolla, get the yaris. cheaper, easier to park, uses less fuel, etc. all about what you need it for.

  2. August production you should start seeing VSC in 152s.
    That is incorrect.
Toyota says it will be offered across the entire Corolla range from September 2008, perhaps as part of a MY09 model refresh."

May all be correct -- in some cases, August production *may* be "offered" from September ... :)

  3. ... and the direct mechanical speed input from the car that we all hate so much when it blanks out our LCD Displays when you go over 5 Kms/HR

sorry for the questions but will only get our car this weekend ...

so what do you rely on for navigation above 5kph? just voice guidance?

does this blanking out also happen when you're in radio or CD mode?

  4. ordered ours 9 april (silver levin zr, auto, moonroof, etc.). found out that morning that there was no silver levin zr auto with a moonroof around but, luckily, a check with the inventory of an incoming ship showed one was available. was with customs on the 23rd, delivered to the dealership on the 25th and we'll be getting the car on friday (could have been tomorrow but we don't have any free time wed and thurs, what with meetings and kids pickup!.
