  1. Hey guys, just letting you all know that my 2ZZ-GE PPE headers are up for sale. Please check out the FS section for more details. Thanx~
  2. sorry.. i forgot to add.. the PPE headers did cost less than $1k.... it was $950 delivered to Aus.... and that price also included HPC/ceramic coating as well
  3. I for one am a HUGE fan of craig as well... i was one of several guys who recommended jimmy to go to craig to get the piping done for his turbo setup.... craig has also made a cat-back system for my car as well..... however, when it comes to headers, the 2zz is a really fussy engine, and its not just a matter of chucking on a header with a bigger set of runners and a bigger primary... almost all the big name aftermarket headers out there (TRD, C-one, Trial) have had hours of R&D invested into them and still end up loosing power somewhere in the powerband... so far, out of all the aftermarket headers out there besides the PPE, power is made either in the low-end and mid-range but top end is lost... or power is lost throughout the whole rev range except for a few HP gain in the top end.... so id rather pay an extra coupe of hundred and be 100% certain about what sort of power gain i will b getting and where in the powerband the power will b made.... there is always a risk/uncertainty when u go custom, well... at least for the 2zzge......
  4. the gains were quite substancial.... but mainly in mid-range... and even more in top-end... when in lift, the car just pulls!!!!!
  5. hmm, if i remember correctly... it cost me $950 AU shipped.... that was including the HP coating as well..... i hear alot of talk about CES products in here, but sometimes u gotta look outside the square.... dont get me wrong, CES do a great job at what they do and they pride themselves on the quality of their work...... but do keep in mind that there are better products out there.....
  6. :D its not a direct bolt on, u have to splice the b-pipe to get the headers to fit, which any exhaust shop will happily do for u..... if u want bang for ur buck, id recommend porting out ur OEM headers........ but if u want the best, id recommend PPE... remember, u always get wat u pay for....
  7. please excuse my ignorance, but ive been through the whole thread, and there is not a single mention of the PPE header... is there a reason for that???
