  1. Can SOMEBODY or ANYBODY who sees that white zre, dumped, black rims, black front lip and rear wing spoiler find out where he hangs and race him!! Then get him to join TOCA! lol

    lol Jonni,

Saw his car today parked on hampshire rd sunshine, infront of asian grocery. hahaha.

black trd front lip, c-one black wing tip, netz badge, trd sticker in rear (debaged), red lip and black spokes (looks like tenzo-R cuzco 1 style), dumped to prob 1-2 fingers from guards, tinted rear tail lights and sportivo badge on each side near indicators.

then he drove into car wash on ballarat rd and vinh (aka le.vinh.zr) that was washing his car, thought oh must be just driving in to show off LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I thought it was a honda from a distance, coz u kno honda boyz love the white and black combination lolz.

but not my taste hehe. we should say hi to him get him to join forums, maybe his alerady on the forums and just keeping it low hahaha :)

  2. saw 3 rollas in total today. 2 parked next to each other at tottenham station (i know at least one of them are on the forums as it looks very familiar. i think from the last meets) and another black rolla speeding up that road thats parallel to ginifer station. i was crossing the road with 2 old ladies next to me and you over took a parked taxi and flawed it, must of had a catback exhaust or something. the 2 ladies next to me "oh god we are going to get run over, call the police maybe its stolen" refering the black rolla speeding in my direction.

Haha yeh we both on the forums. one was white ZRE (le.vinh.zr) and one Black ZRE (mine) parked at tottenham station. we take the train to work hehe...

  3. Yeah, you have to splice 2 (I think) of the wires coming off the headlight switch. You will have to remove the lower plastic cover to access the wires. =)

Hm, anyone in Sydney/Wollongong feel like giving me a hand? I'm happy to drive where ever tomorrow.

I pulled off all the covers tonight to have a look. Just hoping that I could just plug a cable in. Alas, no :(

hehe, I had the same issue when I put mine on. I did everything and couldnt work out where to plug the push switch in. So i ended up getting the Stalk from toyota for $160 and was plug and play :) no cutting etc. just replacement of the stock one. thanks for Kenneths help!

  4. lol. the trd front lip is easy to put on. no need to look at instructions. just undo all the screws thats holding the plastic protector under the bumper. it should be two pieces, and around 6-7 screws. There is one thats in between the two black plastic that holds them together. Now pill a bit of the adheresive sticker on the lip, you will need two people to help u fit the trd lip on and then use the existing screws that u removed which was holding the black plastic. the trd front lip should come with 2 black screws that your ment to screw on each side of the front guards. When lip is on pill the adheresive sticker away so the lip sticks onto the bumper. Vinh and I both did our lips quiet easily :) hope that helps

  5. Well guys, unfortunately, even if the ECU does have the cruise control capabilities, I can't see any way of plugging into it because that empty socket in the steering wheel to plug the cable into isn't there.

So, any other suggestions, now that I have the parts in hand? I wonder if I could hard wire it into the computer..

Does anyone know how the computer works in the ZRE?

The Ascent Model for 2007-2008 ZRE152 don't have that extra port to plug the OEM cruise controller in. you would need to upgrade the whole steering wheel which is around $1900 AUD. not worth the price. infrared link is not that reliable. I would recommend you using a drive-by-Wire Autron AusCruise after-market cruise control which works the same but doesnt have the cancel feature but you can still cancel using the break pedal or on\off, its around $750 installed. If your in melbourne speak to AudioFX or call 1300 AUDIOFX these guys will install 2 cruise module units and it will work inconjunction with the ECU so there is a bit of custom work there from the auto electriction. Hope this helps :)

  6. i reckon u should LOWER it b4 u get the GPS bro... Once ur cars lowered on the kappas, it'll look HOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Agreed! lowered = winner!

Tell me about it i've spent over 8grand on my ZRE already on genuine and aftermarket mods. Its your money do what you want to do to the car your mates are probably jealous. At the end of the day you're laughing and your mates will want to sit in your ride : D peace

  7. I got 10,000K with white xenon matching parkers on my ZRE.. but the best look is 8000K!

I stock HID kits with warranty can do fitting as well! Melbourne / Sunshine area. Sell and fitted to over 100 cars every month if your interested PM me.

  8. Hey JVN11L,

Very simple, the Spring for the rear will be dependant on its own like the factory one and the adjustable shocks will also be dependant on its own as well. The springs and adjustable shocks for the rear that will come with the coilovers kit will use the factory setup as this is called a Coilover Ram type setup for the rear. The fronts will be normal setup, springs coiled over the adjustable shocks.

I was thinking about that a while ago as well. How does the rears go on and do we remove the plate that holds the springs in the rear but we can leave it and reuse it

    :)

  9. You might need some custom work to get the back ones slotted in (for some aftermarket speakers anyways if its larger anyways).

Do you mean the mounting depth of some aftermarket speakers are too large? compared to the mounting depth of stock rear speakers?

the hole diameter where the speakers sit is not deep enough for some aftermarket speakers, so you need to do some cutting or so to make it fit

  10. Hi,

I've upgraded mine back 6 months ago..

the front speaker size is 6 1/2 " and the rear is around 6" there is only 1 size for tweeters and its universal to fit all cars.

You might need some custom work to get the back ones slotted in (for some aftermarket speakers anyways if its larger anyways).

I've got Alpine Type-R front split cross over with tweeters and the rears are also Type-R Coaxial

    hope that helps

    Jay
