Can 3Y engines run on unleaded? I've blown my 18R-C in my 83 hilux. Can get a 3Y-C from a smashed 85 Hilux for next to nothing with a 5 speed attached but wondering whether this is an unleaded engine? I don't always remember to add the valve saver fluid when filling up (prpbably the cause of my 18R demise) so an Engine already designed for unleaded would be beneficial. Or am i better off putting the money back into my 18R and re-seating the valves. Any help would be appreciated, cant decide on better option. (My local Toyota mob couldn't help because these engines are before their time - young useless idiots)
