i'm sure DJKOR will post up the link to the ebay seller... :)
Well here I am ;) . With the HID's, there are many different types you can get off eBay if you choose that approach. You just need to do a simple search of 'H11 HID' and you will find more than enough options. When choosing a colour temperature (the figure with a 'k' at the end), you need to figure whether you want the best in performance or best in looks. I'd recommend 6000k if you want the brightest, or 8000k if you want the best in looks. With that said, even the 8000k is really bright.
In case you are curious, I bought my HID's from the eBay seller "SUNSTAR-HID". They say you usually get what you pay for, but with HID's that can be obtained for as little as $60-$70 from eBay, you can't really go wrong. I have been using cheap kits for a while without any issues. Just make sure you install them tightly otherwise you have the potential to end up with this... and this is a more expensive kit.
DJKOR, would you know of any good australian sellers off eBay. I just don't feel that comfortable with buying from overseas.
Also does anybody any about installation of HID's, I don't think I would be able to do it myself, so would anybody knoiw where I could get it done? and at what approx price?
Thanks

My wife will be selling her 05 Corolla soon, we have never sold a car privately before!!
When someone wants to inspect the vehicle, would we tell them our address and say come to our house or do you think it would be safer to meet elsewhere, like the local carpark for example?
What do you all think and what would you do?

I wish they had Aurion Police Cars is NSW. I would love to see them on the Roads.
-
That TRD Aurion is slightly pricey for the number of kms, I think...I paid $37,500 for mine with 18,000 kms, although that is the SL model and is $5k more than the S model when new.
If anyone gets it, I recommend you send it back to a TRD dealer and get them to do a full check and service to make sure everything is in order. They are very reliable and well-built cars, but it pays to be safe. Whoever gets the car will not regret it, I assure you.
You paid $37,500 for a TRD Aurion?
I haven't seen one for less than $40,000. Well done mate. Looks like those cars weren't as popular as Toyota expected. They're having a hard time selling any of the Aurions in WA, they keep changing the prices...
On Greys online auctions, there is one listed for $35,000, 07 model with 18,000km. They are so cheap now. I should of bought one instead of the sportivo.

Looking on Greys Online Auctions, are is a 2007 Red TRD Aurion for sale. Price is $35,000. There is also a SX6 sportivo for only $20,500. Selling cheap!!!! They are both ex-police cars. Good for anyone who wants one... http://www.graysonline.com.au/sale.asp?SALE_ID=70340
NOTE: This is a different TRD Aurion that was previously discussed is another topic "TRD Aurion @ the Govt Auctions (NSW)"

That one was black, this one is red.

So on my way to TAFE/work, I always pass by a Toyota Dealership. Anyways, when I passed by today, they had a new Reef coloured Aurion parked outside. Damn that is a HOT colour.
I can't wait to see one in the flesh, heres some pics... http://carsales.com.au/new-cars-in-stock/T...amp;Make=TOYOTA

I think down here in Melbourne I am absolutely sick of having to even share the road with many P-platers... the amount of inconsideration, the consistent speeding and the constant tempting of fate absolute infuriates me sometimes! Numerous times heading home from a friends place at like 10pm along Princes Hwy I am just trying to have a casual drive, sticking to the speed limit etc, and then I get P-platers in a commodore or falcon filled with their mates speeding up next to me with an exhaust bigger than the bumper... sit equal with me and either try to drag me, cut me off, or in about 3 cases - I actually had them purposely trying to push me into the car in the lane across from me just so I will have to flog it to give them the sense that I am dragging!!! There are so many words I could use to describe my real thoughts on these types of people, but for the sake of the others here... I won't go that far! In short, I would love nothing more to see them wrap around a pole (which I laughed like crazy when I actually saw one of them who actually did this after harassing me just further up the road! They got what they deserved for that IMO)... better than somebody else like myself who is just trying to mind my own business and not be harassed by the absolute idiots on the road. I much prefer the L-platers, who I feel generally apart from lack of skills and generally driving slowly - they are at least careful and comparatively safe drivers.
It's about time the rules were far stricter for this sort of behavior. Anybody who drives like this should have their car crushed just like the proposal put forward in NSW a while back.
I agree, although some P-platers are ok, others think they are just it, thinking they are the best drivers in the world. They get too confident.

Wish I got a sun roof
When I got my Aurion, I got the sunroof, I thought if I was going to spend 40K on the car, I should pay the extra $1800 for the sunroof pack. For potential buyers out there, I recommend you to get one, they are worth it and me and my wife use it almost everyday, we even put the tilt up when its raining.

Hi,
Anyone else out there own a 80 series cruiser wagon petrol not diesel?
Just wanting some info, firstly fuel consumption L/100k's?
If there's a child restraint hole/bolt for the centre of rear seats?
And pretty much any feedback, good points, bad points etc etc
Cheers
I use to own a 80 series landcruiser before I sold it for a V6 Aurion. THe 80 series is a typical 4WD, it was a excellent car, I would recommend it, fuel consumption was approx 16L/100km.

what you have to look for is.... make sure it isn't an Ex-Pizza Delivery car :)
hahaha! our pizza shop used to have one before. We sold it to one of the workers. she happy!
I was looking at a little 06 Yaris Auto, it was a ex-pizza delivery car! Why is it bad to buy one of these?

Hi all,
I've been looking for a Aurion Sportivo for some time now, and recently one came up that fit my description (I wanted a sunroof, which is an optional feature on the SX6) However the colour was not one I particularly liked, Its a lime green colour.
What does everyone think of this colour? And does anybody know why they no longer produce this colour, instead its inferno orange. Was the green colour unpopular?
Thanks

Please read the buy and sell rules before posting and also please post in the right section.
