I was wondering I took my car to the track last weekend, ran it. I have a 1.8 L VVT-I engine.. what should it run 1/4 mile time wise? Bone stock

I just installed a AEM CAI on my 07 rolla... damn thing throwin a check engine light.. I'm guessing because under the plastic cover on the engine that says VVTI, to the right has a hose that sticks out... no idea what to do with it... any suggestions (I searched the CAI on previously asked and didn't see anything). It just lays there.. it kinda sucks in air after u rev it and on the down of the rpm itll start to suck in a bit of air..

im a bit stupid, how or where do i get forged pistons? and anything else ill need?

Thanks... I guess what I'm looking for is doing a turbo charger.. is there really anything I need to replace on the engine itself to handle the turbo?

Hey guys, I have pretty much a stock 2007 Corolla S VVTI, and wondering what I need to do to the engine :D. I'm taking all suggestions, so far the only thing I have installed is a cold air intake from AEM, other then that I don't have anything else on it. I just recently did lowering springs so it sits about 2" from the ground, VOXX racing rims, Wanli street performance, Magnaflow Race Series Exhaust System. - What are your suggestions, I'd like to have a killer 1/4 mile time.

Well i got lowering springs put on, sits about 2" off the ground =) looks good ill take some more pics.. also i have a turbo comin in august.. my question is i have a stock motor all i got is a cold air intake... what is recommended to upgrade in the engine before doing the turbo? =) Thanks for the help fellas!

how hard was it? and btw is a spring compressor recommended? ive seen it done with and without it

Hey guys I'm new here. Got a 2007 toyota corolla, recently just got a set of lowering springs. Does anyone have a DIY on how to install them. Anything from a 2003 corolla and up is the same setup, so if you got anything let me know :D I got the general idea on it but would rather something to go by.
