  1. ...guys dont stress

Its going to be a good turn out like every other meet. There should be 30-45 cars there so it should be fine.

You know what id like see... IF WE CAN GET OVER 40 CARS AGAIN :D

Well ive put the post into my signature to make the meet stand out. you guys should so the same hahah

If you guys havent been to a meet before come along even if you got a old corolla stock corolla ;)

  2. went past a clean white corolla thats been lowered with rims with P plates this morning on the M4. Bloke turned off the mount druitt exit around 7:40am.

I was the car with the bright HID's on ^_^

bloke stared at me when turning off but didnt wave...hahaha how rude

  3. Differences between 03 and 05 that i can think of the top of my head include:

    - Different front end.

    - Different tail lights.

    - Shows that fog lights are 'on' in the instrument cluster.

    - Side mirrors slightly different.

    - matte silver trim.

    - different headunit (black, and plays mp3's and may have bluetooth depending)

    - all electric windows including passenger have the 'auto' wind up and down function - This includes all 'auto' on the drivers controls for all windows.

    cool...thanks for the reply

So i take it for all the models the driving experience is exactly the same?

  4. i was told that the clutch or gears arnt as good as a stock corolla by somone on this forum and it was best to test drive one before thinking about buying one.

I was curious though as i know the 05 model just changed the front bumperbar and headlights. but what else is improved or different between the various year models?

I like the 05 and also the older models just the same. But thought sporitvo owners here would have a better insight than the average joe :D ...maybe this topic might help others as well for buying a sportivo...who knows

  5. im not sure if it will do it on your car, but the colour was way off to normal and the indicator was moving much faster than usual.

I think he was referring to the parker lights and not the indicators.

If you change your indicators to LED's by the way, you may need to replace the flasher relay as it relies on the resistance from the globes to operate.

Edit: Beat by a couple of minutes.

Im not changing the indicators (aka turn signal indicators)

I just want to change the Parker lights as they are yellow as you can see on link below for my car on page 2.

ive been getting a few people saying it looks crap with the HID's. Let me know what you think...

you'll know what i mean when you see the photo

  6. i bought these globes as i was advised that i was easy to change from some of the people from this forum...but for my car i cant get into the area to replace the globe. I think i need to pull out the parker lights to replace the yellow globes for the bright white led globes.

any able to help out with this?

As I've said many times before, get the service manual :P

But to take the parkers out, first pop the bonnet. Then undo the single screw bolting the parker cluster to the headlight cluster (it'll be a Phillips-head screw on top of the headlight). Then, wiggle the parker towards the front of the car (it has some spring-clip thingies holding it in too) until it pops free. Then turn the globe holder anti-clockwise and pull out the holder, thus giving you access to the globe itself. I'm sure you can work out what to do from there on.

thanks dude ..ive give it a go
