  1. Unfortunately it will share a couple of things in common with the 350z, they're both made in America...:/ and at least with the 350z, while it can't go around corners, it does have rear wheel drive so you can at least try and recover from the oversteer. With the eclipse the front wheels are expected to be able to steer *and* nail down a potential 260bhp. Not a good combination in my book.
  2. not really, the monitor is a touch screen so you don't need to worry about that and programs like winamp are easily changed so the buttons are larger and there's software which interprets infrared signals so you could just use a remote anyway. or, if you use linux OS its even easier.
  3. you could always go the complete upgrade option with your stereo system too... hook yourself up with a mini-pc like this: http://www.littlepc.com/products_p3littlepc_standard.htm they're available from heaps of online stores around the interweb, you then get yourself a motorised screen, something like this... http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_info.p...&products_id=91 put them both in the same spot as your current stereo (there's enough room), run windows/linux/whatever OS you want. Buy yourself a usb gps module from ebay and plug it in, run it with any of the various mapping software suites that are available. if you really wanted to you could pay the $20 for the google earth plus software and that will interface with your gps module quite well also, you get satellite photo's as well then, very cool. :) you also get a fully functioning pc in your car to store music much easier than *any* stereo on the market. Plus, if you get a wifi addon you can get internet access if you cruise past an unsecured wireless network, :)
  4. come on fella's, the colours not important. I can't even type that with a straight face. :) Here's an angle to look at, black isn't a colour, its a tone...same as white. Whereas white is the lack of colour, black is the combination of all colours. Therefore, black is actually concentrated versions of red, blue, yellow, etc to form a super colour, i.e. black. So in actuality, white is pure and any other colour in between is a diluted, less powerful version of black. You just couldn't cope with all the power that comes from the different colours when combined to form black. :) hah!
  5. Cooorrrrooolllllling along...Toyota. For those who are suddenly thinking that I might running with "less than a full tank", its from an old Corolla ad campaign from Toyota in the mid-90's...its still amusing. :) I am now the proud proud owner of a brand spanking new, lift-enabled, black, 16" sporting, leather filled 2005 Corolla Sportivo. Might I say that it is indeed quite nice. Of course, you're probably already aware of that. Black certainly is the new red, infact I'd go as far as to say its the *old* red, before red was popular (although apparently yellow is the new red but thats unconfirmed thus far). It's making a comeback. Its the only colour that a cool response can be given to when asked "what colour is your car?", the only response would be "black as your soul". That has a certain jene se qua-iness about, one can't deny. Anyway, enough of this, I just thought I'd express what could be termed as glee at my latest purchase. I'm glad to be among you all. :) Scott
