  1. Thanks for the advice its appreciated. I had a look at that small relay directly in front of the battery and it says it is for the "Dimmer" ill pull it out though and give the contacts a clean. What do you mean by they pryed your relay open a bit more? Ill also pull the combo switch (stalk) out in the morning and clean the contacts. I also found the plug that connects to the light bulb has melted on the black wire. Is there a wiring diagram anywhere on the net for these camrys?
  2. It remains dark until you switch on high beams then the high beams come on. I slammed my bonnet really hard as I put it down and then all of sudden the normal lights started working again. So now you turn normal lights on and there fine but high beam remains black when you switch from low to high. I had a look at the relay and I found one which runs along the battery in a slim fuse box but I need to get another one before i can replace it. Does anyone else know where the other relay is and how many there are in total for the headlights?
  3. Hi everyone, I did a search but come up stumps so hoping some one can help me with a gremlin in my electrics. So my lights where working normally one day then the next day my High Beams stopped working. When you flicked the High Beam on they would go from a working normal light to black. I don't use high beam much so didn't bother with it. Then this morning got in the car and I have the reverse of this so now my high beam works fine but my normal lights are just black?????????? I am thinking its a dodgey relay / wiring and was wondering if anyone can let me know where the relays are for a CSI Camry and where the wires go to from the engine back so I can track them? If anyone else has any common problems with this I would also be interested to hear your experiences? Thanks!
