  1. Hi guys, I'm new here [even though I joined a while back, I've only just got my van registered again] I need to replace the clutch in my Hiace. It's a 2000, RZH103R with a 2RZE [2.4L petrol injected, 5 speed] I used to work on my own cars way back in the old days but haven't done anything for years. I'm looking at doing it myself because I've been quoted $650.00 to get it done, that seems a bit high to me - 3 hours labour and a couple of hundred for the kit. Am I wrong? Can anyone point me to any places to get a manual or step by step instructions, or any other tips or hints? Any help appreciated
  2. oh I've got the handle off no worries, I just can't get the door open... I can see the mechanism in the middle of the door, I can pretty much get to that part ok, it seems like there's something down at the bottom of the door where the catch is, there must be something stuck down in that area I think.
  3. excuse me, but how do you figure this? Regardless of if I'm in neutral or not, if I'm coasting down a hill my foot is off the accelerator. So, surely, the only thing affecting the rate of fuel entering the motor at that stage is the idle setting of the carby? [or EFI equivalent] How could putting it in neutral actually cause more fuel usage?
  4. Hi all, I have a 2000 Hiace with a broken rear door handle. Today I went to the local wreckers and got a new handle, and pulled off the panel on the inside of the door. Found the four nuts and dropped the trim off the back of the door. Figured out which bit of lever gets moved when the door handle is operated, but I can't push it down - it seems like it's stuck, further down on the inside of the door where I can't see. :( Can anyone tell me how to proceed from here? Is there a workshop manual available anywhere? [supercheap and Autobarn don't carry one] Or even just the pages that relate to the back door - are they available online anywhere? Thanks in advance for any help... B)
