  1. Original D400's only just lasted 40K. Replaced with Falken ZE912 via Bob Jane, Ipswich with Nitro option at 40PSI and have done nearly 50K, found that they are still wearing unevenly on outside. Apparently caused by round-abouts. Looking at JAX or Tyrepower next for sales and service and see if that makes a difference, considering 255/55/19 just trying to decide on make and model.... Considering a Cooper LTZ, but have only just found that Cooper do a 245/55R19 tyre, so will try this one out, http://coopertyres.com.au/index.php?page=tyres&tyre_id=3 Has anyone else tried this tyre?
  2. Have done nearly 90K in mine and always had 40PSI.
  3. I have been looking at http://www.falken.com.au/tyres/4wd-suv-ZE912.html does anyone have any points of view on this one?

    2WD or AWD

Back in September I was going to buy a territory, got a FWD Kluger Hire Car and drove it from Sydney via Putty road to Townsville. Picked up AWD Kluger in Townsville and drove it back to Sydney. FWD was a little lighter on fuel, but once I got into any hill work I found the FWD torque steer almost dangerous when cruise control was left on. Switched over to the AWD and the drive certainly was more relaxing and enjoyable. Tidal blue for the drive up and Graphite for the drive back, not sure which colour is worse for showing up dirt, I now own a Pearl White KX-S AWD and am pretty happy with it.
  5. Just had my new KX-S AWD delivered yesterday, Purchase was via car search brokers.com.au and pretty happy with the price and even more so by the service. $57K all up. Nov 2008 build date. Crystal Pearl in colour. Genuine Nudge Bar, Bonnet and Light protectors, Weather Shields, Mud Flaps, Dash Mat and wiring harness for towing. Integra Side steps and Hayman Reece tow kit 50x50 box with electric brake controller from Coldys. 99% UV Tint applied to stained windows and tinted both front windows to match rest of car. Full tank of Fuel. The guys did all the running around and sorted out all the rego stuff, and getting all the parts fitted etc. Ordered on the 1st of Dec, Paid for on the 11th and Delivered on the 17th. Just need to find a suitable mat for the cargo area, anyone know of a good brand / style let me know. I believe the car was ordered from Chatswood Toyota in case your looking. base price was 49,990 + on road and everything else.
  6. Am currently travelling the east coast of oz, both the KX-R RWD and KX-R AWD have this "Feature"
  7. Went to RACQ in Townsville, North Queensland. They recommended MMS. Mobility Modification Services & Dave Price Crash Repairs. These guys are at 31 Hamill Street, Garbutt, 07 4779 7878. They quoted $300 for the pair. Job they do is remove rear seat and remove its upolstry, bugger the wording :) and then weld a plate on each side that has a thread in it. They then use this to mount a similar slim line clip as those mounted in the centre seating. This clip is mounted in such a way that it can be removed when not in use.
