Hi guys

Just wondering if a xforce twin loop s12 oval could be silenced.

Can rasonators be taken out or put another one on and would it be quit or louder also does it block airflow comming out of it.

Was thinking of going to livopool exhaust to get some advise if they can do me a custom silencer.

im not a pro when it comes to exhaust or mufflers so will need help.

just a quick question, why did u get that exhaust if u want it to be quiet?

U can get a silencer from almost any exhaust place for the s12. you should try Autobarn, thats where i got mine!

Mate if you really wanna silence it you will need a silencer (makes sense), which is a separate metal piece that goes inside your muffler tip. However you will lose some flow with a silencer on..

Hello. Yes I understand, but people have informed me that the s12 can be silenced. I've been investgating it, and I'm sure one of my friends has the right skill set to perform the work for me. The other option is that I contact the performace exhaust busines near me. Does the s10 provide a more subtle tone over that of the s12? (I couldn't make sense of the last sentence).

hi guys yeh i understand but ppl say that the s12 can be silenced so yeh just want to give it a try think one of my friends can do it for me or tomorrow i call up the performace exhaust place to help me out is the s10 much quiet than the s12 and also the hakken guy that done it for me say is a s10 and he put a s12 wonder if he can switch it for me thanx.

Did u buy this muffler brand new? I believe this muffler comes with a silencer..

hey thanx for the reply yeh i bought it brand knew from performance exhaust centre from northmead is getting pretty loud is not an varex but just an normal twin loop s12 xforce so yeh just wondering if they can silence it back to normal by using a computer or similar thanx.

hi guys recently i purchased a s12 xforce for my rolla and just wondering if it can be silenced for the s12 any advice need to know asap and could it be silence like stocky lol is abit too loud for me. Ohhh yeh one more thing i went to king wreckers in fairfield they can get stock alloy wills for 800 buks with tyres brand new cheap or i can neg with them thanx guys hopefully someone would help ta.

hey guys thanx for replying hey bill today i went to performance exhurst hahaha i fitted a xforce s10 twin loop sounds nice and by the way see the resonator can hakken adjust the sound on it or so gonna ring him tomorow and ask for a quote for king lows for my car soon as new tyres and rims gotta be fitted in soon gonna upload some pics onto the forum. 1 more qustion bill see the 17 inches and if i dropp to 35mm would it sit nicely on thanx.

hi guys im thinking of putting the 17" lenso dc6 or the gt6 i think it was and wondering if i should get michelin tyres on with em do they wear out quick or not much does anyone use michelin tyres for low profile. 1 more thing what size tyres should i be looking for 205 or 217 i think im not sure with the size for 17inch thanx.

have a read on your owners manual.. it also depends how often you drive your car and how many K's you clock up etc.. as for where to service your car, go where is convenient for you, ie close to work, home and the like..

hi guys i have a 03 corrolla sedan done abt 100k and needs to be serviced. which places would be the best placed to do it at btw im in sydney. should i go back to the dealer to service my car and also heard abt this place in the newspaper. the place is at north parramatta he used to work for phill gilbert and thinking to go to him for servicing soon in october so yeh. also one more thing is it when u service ur car at toyota is it every 10ks or 5ks and do you follow the date they give you or is unaccurate thanx guys.

hi guys today just went to phill gilbert and ask how much are the geniune foglights qouted for 2 is 695buks withought labour thats too much money any know where to buy it either than toyota to get geniune foggies thanx mate.

is that including the indicator stalk? where the switch for the foggies are situated.. pretty expensive going thru Toyota spare parts

aswell, search the forums.. there is a link i cant remember that sells OEM parts online.. especially foglights

i got mine off eBay, which were the OEM type, with the switch located on the dash.. all up i paid close to $200 for the foglights installed (cheaper because fitted same time with my stereo & speakers)

the foglights came with its own wiring kit (harness, relay etc).. although there was an existing unused connector on the front bar, would that have been for the genuine kit?

Much better idea getting rims for your car instead. have a look at the wheel thread and you can see some great ideas for your car . regarding best places in Sydney to buy rims the guys here on the forum might be able to help as i bought my rims from Good year and they were excellent one place in Parramatta is Spin City Tyres 1/552 Church St

North Parramatta Getting rims is a personal choice but if you like a few you can always ask for ideas on what suits best just put some pics up :D :D

Welcome , I have a 2005 sedan and recieved a quote in Sydney for Genuine toyota foglights dealer fitted for $1000 . Would rather buy other parts for the car at that price :D :D :D
