Awesome. Team silver FTW! I really wanted an SX6 but the lack of features and leather annoyed me so I bought the Prodigy and the ZR6 was way over my budget(and still is) so Prodigy was the next best thing.

But looking at those pictures of the SX6 makes me think twice. Go for the good looks AND sports suspension or features

Any mod's planned? :)

haha yeh silver FTW! yeh i really liked the look of the sportivo and couldnt afford the ZR6 so the SX6 was perfect.

Future Mods:

HID 6,000k low beams

HID 8,000k Fogs

dvd/gps headunit designed like the oem headunit (ebay version one)

19" wheels

Coilovers/kings springs (still deciding the better option)

Full Exhaust with varex oval mufflers

for now but that will probs take me a year or two pending funds of course.

I haven't been on this forum for quite some time due to the fact I didn't exactly own a Toyota I had a Lexus IS200. So i may aswell introduce myself again my names Phil im 19 turning 20 this month,I'm from the Central Coast, I work at dominos pizza in wyoming and fingers crossed going into the RAAF early next year. I have always loved Toyota, my parents have an Avalon and a yaris, and I have had in order of owning them, a camry, a supra, an IS200, and now my sportivo Aurion which is a fair amount considering I have had my licence almost 3 years. Enough about me though this forum is about cars so here she is.

Features: all the mod cons most new cars have.

I don't have any pics of it as of yet but trust me if you have seen my other threads about my camry and supra i do love pictures and mods :P because it's a new car and still under warranty I can't exactly do a lot of mods but I will see what I can do.

Well i went today not in the supra becuase i dont have my licence but i still went to have a look.

It was an ok turn out i thought, weather actually held off which was pretty good, well at the time i was there (11ish - 1 or something), this was the first one ive been to but im definately going to enter next year :D

Here are some pics i took, some of your guys might have seen me hanging round i was with my dad i was wearing my diamonds and $ sign jacket it was cold and its the only jacket i have that keeps me warmish

It was pretty dark so some pics didnt turn out so great, would of been better with a tripod. but anyway. (Hope you guys dont mind licence plates being shown if you do ill take the photos down)

Hey man i'm glad your looking at buying a supra.

Personally i'll be buying a PRE-1996 twin turbo when i'm about 6 months from getting my opens and building it upto 600+hp.

First of all...are you looking at buying an australian one or an import?

In japan they continued making JZA80 Supras untill 2002.

I'm not sure if they make auto N/A 2JZ's but i'm sure you could get a "Getrag V160" Gear box (this is the 6 speed manual gear box used in twin turbos) and bolt it onto your N/A 2JZ.

Also, in 1996 they added vvti to the 2JZ (both twin and N/A).

So if you ever wanted to twin turbo your n/a after you get off ur p's it would be easier to do this on a PRE-1996 one.

Ok 1 there is no such thing as a n aussie supra they are ALL imports.

the 2JZ-GE is the non turboed engine AKA N/A engine AKA SZ (standard) SZ-R (Optioned)

Series 1 MKIV supras 1993-1995 N/A's came in auto 4 speed and 5 speed manual

Series 2 MKIV supras 1996-2002 N/A's came in auto 4 speed and 5 speed (SZ) and 6 speed (SZ-R)

ALL aerotops are AUTO! they are mainly series one's very rare to see a series 2 aerotop.

NO you cannot Twin-turbo your N/A you need a different engine the 2JZ-GTE which is a completely different engine.

I have learnt most of this before buying as it does help to know whats what. :D

Oh and im on my green P's and trust me there is a HEAP! of power! :D lol

cheers guys dont worry the mods are only tastefull :D not much left to do now though just some wheels and series 2 clear indicators and then its onto performance :D

Well ive been on the forum a while since ive had the camry but i dont think i ever made a thread on the good ol camma so here it is copy pasted from Auscam.org site from way back when i first got my reds :D

Hey all, well here are some photos of my car from when it was unregistered bone stock to about last month as i havent done any more mods due to doing the HSC and not working.

Future mods include:

Clear side indicators

Clear bumper indicators

Kings Springs Lows

Red clear red tail lights (once or if the aussie dollar gets better)

Finishing off the letterbox grill

getting rid of the pod filter and buying a K and N pannel filter (will have to buy stock airbox as dog chewed up old one :( )

Window Tint darkest legal in NSW (whatever that is 25%?)

and if i decide to keep her, a bodykit and respray (candy apple red im thinking) or like a camry in america half red half black and also dropping in a v6 and either turbo or supercharging the v6.But thats ages down the track once im off my P's and have a Full time job. Its either that or buying a supra :D

Headlights and TRD Wing on

Well this will be the final update for a few months as i have 2 months left from my licence suspension (Stupid P's) so therefore it has limited me from working which means no more money :(

Fixing the Top Secret Front bar

Small update took the front bar into a fibreglasser today and i am getting it fixed and paint blended for $180 and i will have the bar back on friday :D

Top Secret Front bar Fitted :D:D

Well yesterday and today i managed to fit the bar had a few problems with screws and wiring for one of the indicators but got there in the end. The series one indicators look terrible but once im working again definitely 1st on the list!

Headlights and wing still not complete hence why no wing and headlights sitting in the spot.(Also dw about the zigzag down the front of the bar that happend during transport from the fibreglasser my bad :( )

Bought Top Secret Front bar

Well i bought a Top Secret series 2 front bar today off Whitgohost off the forum for $100 it has quite a large crack from when he came off marulan track. (Oh and dont worry, i have only taken the wing off to repaint it as the first time i painted it i did a ****house job. Also i also have taken off my headlights and broke them apart and gave them a good old clean hence why they are just sitting on bar in the pics)

So today i got my windscreen fixed and managed to paint and fit the TRD wing myself it doesnt look too bad also on monday i got my monoblock amp and sub installed

Smashed windscreen

Well tonight at work some little **** decided it would be funny to smash my windscreen, by the looks of it he did it bare foot and stopped on it as there are muddy footmarks on my bonnet :(
