  1. Hi to all, Have just joined up today to get some advice from other Celica owners. I have a 1987 Toyota Celica Convertible ST162 (white). I imagine that anyone who ones a Celica in this age range knows how things gradualy start to deteriorate and need fixing or replacing THE PROBLEM The electric in the car that operate both front door windows have gradually ground to a 'halt' with one of the windows now stuck down the bottom, and both side wing mirrors going in and out each time the car is turned on. The auto electrician has painted a somewhat grim picture price wise to fix all the problems (and that's dependent on available parts) I am wondering if it is possible to change the doors over from electric windows to a model that has a manual wind-up feature for the windows. I have located 2 doors with manual wind up (same colour) from a 1985 Celica that is supposed to be compatible with an AT160 or ST162. I am unsure though whether it is possible change the door over from a Celica Coupe to a Celica Convertible and still have a correct fit (can't try them out for size as they are in another part of New Zealand). Any thoughts or comments ALSO Where might I get a replacement rear window (plastic) for this car .... current one has limited visibilty through it Thanks so much for any replies
