Dudes, if anyone has done this, I'd be interested in your feedback and/or recommendations?

Moving to the rural area soon and currently looking to purchase a diesel 4WD myself after driving a Prius Itec for the last few years (great vehicle, BTW, just not suited for this purpose). Looked at the HiAce which we initially thought was a good idea, but from what I've seen (we've often seen them used as trades vehicles so no doubt they're loaded with gear), they seem to sit rather low when we've seen them on the road. Going to purchase a 4WD that doesn't have computer chips and will be converting it to use vegetable oil.
