Same here in WA. Really the mod is for the aesthetics. But I have found they do help driving at night in bushy, winding roads

I have a 2009 KX-R with the satnav. Wanted to add the aux. From all I could find, there should be a 'Mini Jack' cable attached at the back of the unit. Black cable with grey connector at one end, & blue at the other. After removing my head unit, I found it wasn`t there, even though it is included in both the parts list & the fitting instructions for the fitting kit. Contacted the selling dealership regarding it`s whereabouts, but they weren`t interested. From what I can gather you need Cable PZQ60-00200AC, about $50, [if it`s not already fitted] & Aux adaptor 86190-53010, about $75 so about $125 all up Bloody ripoff, but not a lot of choice to do otherwise

I added fog lights to my 2009 KX-R. Purchased them through Mars Lights. They were actually DLAA products One was broken, they posted my another at no charge Very bright, work well

Did this mod [adding fog lights] recently Got the lights from Mars Lights, & managed to pick up combination switch from a wreckers, so all up, about $200 All the wiring & relays are already there, so very easy Thanks to all for their posts ! A great help

Hi Bren If you push the "load' button, mine is on the bottom right hand corner, the screen will show 'map disc'. Push, & the screen will fold down & you insert the disc in the bottom slot
