1978 Corona

hey guys.

i have a really good condition corona that i bought a while ago for $600. good ey?

well i was thinkin i'm gonna fix her up and get it looking nice. i wanna get a new engine for it but i'm not sure what would go in a corona.

i don't want anything too powerful, i'm not making a muscle car. just something to get it moving nicely.

i'm also gonna redo the vinyl interior as the front seats threading is ripping a fair bit.

if anyone could give me some advice on what engines fit into these coronas, please say so. or guide me to a good website.

my mate said that a 3L lexus V6 might fit. something around these lines would be nice.

thanks guys.

you would have an 18R-C in a 78 corona

how about an 18R-G twin carb?

that will give you nice sound and you can do the exhaust too

there used to be a nice orange one getting around like that
