HID installation

Hey guys

Ive recently purchase a HID kit from the group by and was wondering if anyone has installed it themselves before. I drive a corolla 2003 1zzfe.

Problems that I came up with was that:

- The globe in the HID kit has the wire connected to it and the stock globes from the car are attached to this other connector thing before it gets plugged in.

Its hard to explain, like when you put the HID globe in the car, it does not sit securely due to the connector spacing.

Help would be great to overcome this problem

Not to be rude, but how hard can it be to install its just plug and play.

Took me no more than 30min to install mine. Its impossible to do wrong as the connectors can only attach a certain way. hardest part would be manouvering you hand to take the bulbs out.

Fit the globes like normal globes ( Metal saftey clip etc)

Push the wires+power conector down in the space under the light its self

Get a file and the cover off the back of the light

Between the two forks cut away the plastic (Thinks its about 6 sqaures)

place the wires in the middle, and push the cover down...

I can take a picture of the cover if it makes it easier

Dont forget to adjust the lights as well

Yeh a pic would be great!

Well wat i mean is that metal clip that clips onto the globe does not hold the globe properly as with the stock globe it connects to this other black connector before you plug it in.

So wat i mean is that the globe plugs into the connector then the metal clip clips onto the connector which holds it onto place.

Where now removing that connector clip and installing the HID globe which has the wire connected to it already you can onli plug it straight in minus the extra spacing of that connector block.
