Greetings All,

This is my my first post on this forum.

I live in the remote far west of NSW so it's a long drive to get anywhere.

I have owned Toyotas for the last 23 yrs. A 60 series GXL Cruiser, 80 series GXL TD Cruiser and a 2002 Avalon Sorrento. I have never had a problem with any of them.

Currently my 80 series has 260.000 klm on it, still going strong however I am trading the Avalon in on a Presara, delivery date is in May 08.

My query relatates to the Sandstone Reflex Leather which I have ordered.

I have been right through the Toyota website and they show a 360 degree interior view of a Black interior. The also show small colour patches of the available interior colour schemes, but that doesnt really give much of an idea of what Sandstone really loks like.

I was wondering if anyone with the Sandtone interior would mind posting an image of it.

I was in the same situation when I bought mine so I hope this pic helps. What colour car did you order? Mine is Sakana Silver.

Appreciate the images, looks good, I was not keen on the black interior for our climate.

I ordered the Sakana Silver but have not yet seen an Aurion of that colour. I thought Titan SIlver looked good but as it is no longer available I went with Sakana Silver. My favourate colour in the whole Aurion range is Aurora Gold, I do not understand why it is not available on the Presara. I would have thought the top of the range model would be available in any Aurion colour. I sent an email to Toyota on this matter and They did reply but really gave no explanation at all.

How satisfied are you (easyride) with Sakana Silver?

I like it. I think it's a great colour. Doesn't show the dirt too much. Very happy.

I started like you, with the trim colour that I wanted. It really limits your colour choices, as you know. Black, white and Sakana Silver and thats it. Also like you I was a fan of Titan Silver but now I am glad they changed it.

Anyway, congratulations on your choice. I think the Presara is a great car! I just don't get to drive mine enough.

The titan silver is really just beige but its as close as you can get to the gold which is the colour I wanted too but no not available in Presara. The silver presaras look better with black interior to me. I have seen the white and light blue with sandstone trim and they looked OK too.

I liked the look of the silver with black inteior as you see the Presara in all the brochures but having had black leather interior in my ford before i didn't want to get black again. If you wear shorts cause it's hot and park in the sun you do regret it even if it does look good.

Hi all,

Strewth, there sure is no substitute, for trying to gauge the look of an interior or exterior colour than by seeing it in the flesh.

My Presara has arrived, a week early, take delivery next week, and the sandstone interior looks great as does the Sakana Silver exterior.

Just waiting on the arrival of a spoiler.

The finish of the car is right up there with that of my previous Toyota's

      2007 Corolla Sedan rear seatbelt question

      Hi everyone, new member here. I've got a small problem which I'm hoping you can help me sort out. I've read the "read me first" thread and done a forum search so apologies if this ends up being a repost. Ok, so I've just has a bloody mouse chew through the rear seat and half (but only half) of every rear seatbelt. Which is nice. So I need to replace them. The problem I appear to have is that none of the local breakers have any suitable vehicles that I can pull them from and the ones I ordered and was sent from the bay of fleas has the wrong brackets on, despite being allegedly for that vehicle. Further searches come up with every seller showing the wrong bracket, so either I've got a special car which is different just because, or (more likely) they don't know their ****s from their elbows what they're selling. I'm after some aftermarket ones as they never get used and just need to be there to get through rego so don't really want to spend a heap of cash I don't have on genuine parts if I can avoid it. I've replaced the centre one (a mate just randomly had it in a box in his shed, which was handy) but still need the left and right. I've attached the bracket type I pulled from the car and need. Is this a standard generic Toyota seatbelt or specific to the 2007 Corolla sedan? Does is need to be specifically for the rear left and right or do front ones fit? Does anyone know where I can source an aftermarket pair? I will really, really appreciate any help offered with this, I know my way around a box of tools but very little about mechanikicing (which is part of the reason why I bought this car - something simple to learn on as repairs/replacements become due) and this is a simple fix which is turning into a drawn out headache.       Hi all, Wondering if anyone has had this issue. I recently purchased a 2007 200 series landcruiser, and the amplifier for the air con unit stopped working. Part number 88650-60D60. (Looks like a circuit board) All controls for the air con now do not work, very frustrating in winter when you dont have any way to unfog your windscreen. Toyota have informed me that they no longer produce this part, and there is nothing superseeded to fit in it's place. My question is has anyone had this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? I have got onto an auto sparky who has had a go at fixing the circuit board but its unserviceable. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

      Engine oil dipstick reading

      Hi guys, Probably a silly question... I'm having trouble reading my engine oil dipstick on my Toyota Hilux 2010 3.0 Turbo Diesel. I have warmed up the engine, turned off for ~10 minutes, parked on a level surface. Pulled out the dipstick, wipe it and insert it back to the bottom and carefully lift it up. I tried so many times and the two sides always look different. I couldn't read it. Maybe I just don't understand how to read it. Could someone help? Thanks a lot!!!

      Lock CH-R

      Just got a used 2018 CH-R, I always have to lock the car by pressing lock twice to have the light turn off. A friend borrowed it and pressed lock only once and the battery died because all the lights were still on. Is that normal? Shouldn’t one press of lock on the key switch off everything?
