TRD's Dyno Run

Recommended Posts

The leanout's not from overrun fuel cut, overrun fuel cut is MUCH leaner than that, AFR would be off the scale.

For the figures to be inflated in shootout mode, the intake temp needs to be higher than ambient temp.

If his car is running out of injector then it has alot more power to offer with bigger injectors and a tune.

The HP figures from the dyno are correct because if you work it out it falls into the range that would be expected.

241kW = 323HP @ fly wheel - drive train loses of 20 to 25% = 193/180kW or 258/242HP @ the wheels.

Yes it may have gone better if traction/tie down issues didn't occur but the maths doesn't lie.

Absolutely spot on. What the anomally I am drawing attention to is that the intake temp is significantly lower than the ambient temp /air temp outside the car. That can only happen if the incoming air is airconditioned from a duct in the roof or someting like that to the intake pipe.
