Torque Converter Problem - Sportivo.

Hi,

I have a 2003 Sportivo. In the past couple of months it has had a "miss" between 60-80kmh. I thought it might be the spark plugs so I had a Major Service done and got all spark plugs replaced with Platinum ones. It still had the problem so I had the leads replaced too. I have only had the car 18 months so I figured it probably needed doing anyway. It's still doing it and I don't know what to do. My friends husband is a mechanic and he took it for a drive last weekend and says it's the Torque Converter not locking on properly. He says it'll be ok but it's driving me nuts when I'm driving. I'm scared it'll stop one day.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Jo.
