Hi

Does the Kluger stereo automatically adjust/reduce volume when the car is coming to a stop, like at traffic lights?

My stereo doesn't seem do that, but it is a MY11 grande model... sounds like a fault to me, I'd be checking with the services guys at Canberra Toyota. Ian

Hey mate, I have just purchased a KXR and the sound increases and decreases automatically as well..

I thought it had to do with sound balancing due to outside noise.

Not sure if it is normal operation or fault.

Yeah I checked on the US forum and it's a feature of the stereo. Its hooked up to the speed to try and cancel or overcome any drivetrain/outside noise. The grande uses a different system so maybe that's why yours doesn't do it.

It's actually a pretty good feature tbh especially if you like your music loud but don't want it blaring at the lights.
