Which model rav4 or year has the downhill assist

Hi all. I hope somebody can answer my question. I am looking at buying a rav4 soon around 06 07 08 years. I am interested in the downhill assist feature to be added. Does anyone know which year or model has the downhill assist.

Hmm.. don't quote me, but I think the downhill assist feature was added in '06 (as well as the much beefier 3.5L V6 engine). There were a lot of changes made and features added to the RAV in that year.

Doing a search on carsales.com.au should tell you which models had what features in which years, like the 04 and 05 models had the 2.4L 2AZ-FE engine added as well as the bonnet scoop, but all of them should have a feature list when being listed for sale.

      Head unit sd card issue

      G'day NZKicks, I'm just trying to get my unit in a Toyota Corolla going, the card was lost. Just bought 32Gig SanDisk and transferred the files straight onto the Card as it was formatted already to FAT32. Didn't work. I then ran through your instructions and created a 4Gig partition and formatted that only for Fat32.. Loaded the four files straight onto the 4Gig partition and still no luck. Files are: EB.DAT MM.DAT RG.DAT SS.DAT I've now deleted/cancelled the 4Gig partition and loaded the files straight onto the 28Gig section.. No luck also. Damn, this sounded too easy.. Tech stuff (I studied 3D animation) can get very specific and one thing wrong is a no-win. Is there anything I'm missing here that you can see? Thanks in advance

      2017 Kluger AWD. Noise in Cabin - Bearing/Diff. Not Sure.

      Well conclusion to this was....... Toyota covered it out of warranty and the noise is gone. Back to its normal self. We did also buy a Holden Acadia to replace our secondary car (VE Commodore) as having the Kluger go down was not good for our family. So we needed a second 7 seater. We'll be keeping the Kluger .... depsite this failure it's still a great car and props to Toyota for covering it.

      Did you wash the car just after having a drive? If so you may have still had the disks hot and when hit with water they warped. I've had this happen before. You will need to have them ground or replaced. Herb

      Hilux Rogue Model numbers decode?

      I'm looking at getting a new Hilux Rogue and what's on the new market is 2021-2023 models. I'm told that apart from trim and cosmetics, they're all the same beasts. BUT if you look around online they are also listed as either 6 or 9 speaker JBL audio configurations. I want a 9 speaker, March 23 build and would be annoyed to get "old stock" They "can't give a VIN number yet" but the following numbers are on the order form I signed that was mostly blank (no stock no, engine no. serial no.) All I got is the following; GUN126R-DTTHXQ Model C222140M0001 Anyone know how to "decode" these??
