TRD Rear Strut Brace

Recommended Posts

I own a 2001 Toyota Runx which is extremely similar to the Toyota Sportivo. I am thinking of purchasing a TRD Rear Strut Brace and I would like to know if anyone has any detailed information regarding the installation of such, as I was browing the trdparts.jp website and they stated that you had to cut holes in the trim to install it.

I would not like to have to do this therefore as stated earlier I would like to know from the people who have it installed already, if they can give me detailed instructions as to how to install it, especially removing the trim to get at the rear shock mounting. You can PM me with the instructions, if necessary.

Thanks in advance.

the strut brace dosen't attach to the shock tops, it attaches to the seatbelt anchor point, removing the trim is pretty easy, checkout the workshop section for the documentation the hole that you cut is pretty small as seen here in Daves car
