Hey Guys

Just signed up so excuse me if im not posting in teh right area. Just purchased an 2008 aurion sportivo and lookikng at getting it lowered but was considering using adjsutable coil overs but was advised that the ride would be shocking. Has anyone done this before and what are you expereinces.

It doesnt have to be rough ride, depends on a few things like the spring rate.

Also try make sure the coilover you buy has adjustable damper setting

Yeah if you google even a bit about the ride quality with coilovers, most people will tell they're ok, guess it depends a few things like your own tolerance and the roads in your area if it's going to be a daily ride.

Have any of you guys used them and if so what are your experiences if you had to do it again would you just get lowered springs alone.

I have used both springs + shocks and coilovers.

I prefer the coilovers because you can adjust the height and damper setting to how it suits you. I have 8kg spring rate (custom) in my car, and on the softest damper setting its not that rough
