awatea Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 (edited) Hi guys. This only just happened. When key fob battery ran out, I unlocked the drivers door with the key only and the Alarm went off, and wouldn't stop even if I put the key in the ignition. Is this what it commenly does, because my Camry key fob doesn't work at all and can lock and unlock the Camry without the alarm going off. Any help would be appreciated. Avalon1 Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Extract from Toyota Corolla AE112 Remote Central Locking and Alarm manual. Manual Override 1. Unlock the driver door using the ignition key (horn will sound) 2. Using the ignition key quickly turn the ignition switch from the "ACC" to "ON" position 10 times. 3. Leave the ignition at "OFF" position after the tenth turn and wait for the horn to stop sounding. If not, repeat again. Hope that helps 1
