Hi all,

We managed to snag a fwd Cruiser recently from a dealer. Great car but I’m reading about the tow capacity and towball download capacity and it’s 480kg for towing and 50kg download limit. This seems extremely conservative. The FWD Petrol version is 800kg tow and 85kg download.

Pretty disappointed in these numbers as I added the tow hitch for $1200 just so I can add a bike rack but based on the 50kg download limit I’d be hard pressed to put 2 bikes and the rack on it.

Any ideas why these numbers are so low? Download limits are usually around 10-12% of tow capacity so maybe they just haven’t considered this?
