  1. Yeah the 130 is the best looking (I love it, so different!) and the only hatch with rear drive and a straight six (again so different)...but it cost's somewhere around $70K  thats serious money, same goes for the new Audi, its going to be even more expensive again. Executive types need only apply

Oh yeah and...the new 3MPS' performance is impressive but is really soft looking, it would suit my sister...

  2. Hey all,

I have been doing some research on these two cars and they seem to be a very well kept secret here in Aus. The Aristo in particular has grabbed my attention, Its got the 2JZ TT from the Supra in a sedate yet stylish looking luxury saloon, all for $15-$20K! these were the JDM version of our Lexus GS300.

Then theres the Chaser's I had not seen these before except for in GT2 (remember the black touring car?), its similar but with a 2.5 single turbo and in a more mid sized sedan, manual trans too, but are $25-$30K, i think they would the more performance orienated out of the two.

Has anyone had any experience with either of these cars? Or any thoughts?

    Cheers.

  3. Nice work mate!!, How much did it cost for the audio visual work? thats polished.

now to get that twin system in hey....

Hi Geoff.. it cost a fair bit but my mate installed the lcds for me for no cost so  .

Is ur car repaired yet ?

In the shop ATM John! :yahoo:

They reckon about 1 month or so. I said to them to take their time to make the process a bit cheaper. Will have pics soon, definately post them up :)

  4. I have been thinking of doing exactly the same thing GAZOOM.

I'm going to play around with some designs and get some quotes done by fabricators. Im set on getting a side mounted scoop, which if done right, wouldnt look out of place. Yes, that chunky SSV thing would funny, but an intergrated scoop would look sick I reckon.

  5. Spewing mate,

I can tell you why he didnt react fast enough, coz he was drunk...i mean its you nieghbours fence LOL (sorry)

    damn i love that colour!!

(damn censor took off Pis#ed, so i put in drunk)

i think i few people missed out on the fact that the motor is actually in the boot, not in the front LOL

This topic should under MR-S :o

But its got a rolla motor.

  6. hexxx u crazy fool

hahah iknow how it feels man ..... ive had a 12 month suspension before lol

Yep suspension s#cks b#lls big time. I can top both of you unfortunately, I get my licence back on September 19 2008. I had an at fault accident while my licence and rego were cancelled for unpaid fines (idiot!). Karma got me and I can accept that. At least i'll have a low kay sportivo in a couple of years ;)

  7. i remember when i used to go go-karting in the rain it was so easy to get one of those things to spin but you would not want that in a car

I used to go kart often also, once 3 mates and myself went out in heavy rain with slicks on, it was raining so heavily that once you got up to speed the rain felt like little rocks hitting your face. It was the only time i have been able to pull of a 720 spin down the straight at about 60km/h and keep going!!! that was in WA down Henderson/Kwinana way in 2001, fond memories.

BTW SPTIVO_LUVA, cool avatar...Aphex Twin makes my brain bubble :D

  8. Hey s2ky_

I recently was looking into buying an MR2 SW20 and found out that....

~Bathurst models are all non-turbo. So if you find one with a turbo motor its a private job.

~GT is the turbo model. definately the one to go for. (if you have an open licence).

~Targa roofs are available on both

~hard tops are out there but are rarer. (hard tops have sleeker lines too)

~There are REV1, REV2, REV3 series. (eachs series up got more power, options, quality, last one has VVT-i I think?)

Ultimate version for me REV3 black hard top GT B)

  9. as i say guys looks like the corvette backside!

    Not really. :P

The vette's lights are inline, the same size and a solid colour, also its a square end.

While the GTR's lights are on diff levels, are diff size and have blinkers in the middle, also its a rounded edge.

But...those are kick ar$e pics. unmistakable as a GTR, even if you didnt know what you're looking at.
