  1. hi mate

i would recomend you take it to a painter, as the finish you get with 2pac finish can not be matched with a can... but if you want to try it heres how you go about it.

if they are plastic like you mentioned this makes your job alot easier,

    materials needed:

    1. solvent cleaner, like prepsol or a light thinner

    2. plastic primer

    3. preasure pack diamond white base coat paint

    4. clearcoat paint

firstly start by cleaning the eyelids with the prepsol, making sure there is no grease or fingerprints on the lids, use one wet prepsol rag to clean and a dry rag to wipe clean.

your now ready to start painting, start by applying medium coats of plastic primer 2-3 coats should be plenty. make sure not to apply to heavy as this will have a negative affect on adhesion, remember your applying the primer as a adhesion promoter.

let the plastic primer dry as per instructions on can.

now your ready to apply your base coat, just like the primer do not go to heavy with the base coat, aim for evan mediuim coats. 2-3 coats should be enough or untill you think the eyelids are covered, again follow the cans drying times.

the last step is applying the clear coat with this coat, go alittle wetter than previous coats as you want a nice even glossy finish 2-3 coats should be good.

let dry over night and enjoy

  2. (i only did it for the really cool noise it makes) - use a richard Hammond Voice :P

nice one evo, though can i add this, your engine bay kinda looks like a model with out any make up, what i mean by that is you have the SC but now you need to dress it up abit, cai, painted camcover, polished SC, oilcatch tank, cam ugrade and just some general detailing. also better braking in the form of pads, fliud and lines would be a good start.

  3. i had a try at the jdm taillight mod the other day for a second time, every thing was going ok and was working till i put every thing back together and my brake lights stopped working. parkers still come on at the usual side though brake lights and second (jdm) parkers do not, and at the same time my ABS light came on and my ABS has stopped working.

ive had it checked by toyota they checked the fault codes

    1. short circuit in ABS motor relay circuit. code C0274

    2. low battery positive voltage. code C0241

they said it needs a new battery? has any one had this happen to them and how do you go about fixing it

    thx spillige ;)

    Ur cars looking sweet bro...

she may come if i tell her we are going shopping.... my shout

allso thought id have a vent.......:angry: lost 3 points last night and $200 fine for speeding... normally id cop it on the chin, but i believe this cop was setting people up...what he was doing was waiting on the motorway entry, so any one entering the motorway at a higher speed early will get done cause it changes from 80 zone to 110 zone. he said i was doing 99 in a 80 zone, gives me the ****s when cops resort to these kind of tactics.
