  1. I stick regular unleaded in mine ... on a trip to Philip Island and back with the air conditioner running, I managed to get just over 7L/100km :) I've tried 95 PULP before, but frankly couldn't notice a difference ... unless I need to nearly empty the tank? I normally refuel once a week - it's normally about half-full then.

    What the?

I regularly get 700km out of the tank ... mine's a 2001 4cyl automatic. Combined city and freeway driving. Mind you, that being said I coast off freeway exits and go pretty gentle on the car so I can get the bit extra :P Is there a dramatic benefit [other than obviously a smoother drive] that comes from using PULP? I just use 91 ULP.
  3. Firstly, a quick hello to everyone while I make my first post here Bought my Camry in March this year with 85,000km on the clock for $5,000 [deceased estate] and managed to sell my old car [1997 Mitsubishi with a slightly dodgy transmission] for $7,500. You could say I more or less scored myself a bargain :D Just over six months down the track, it's done 92,500km and I'm more or less wrapped with it. It's basic [mine has air conditioning ... that's pretty much it] but it's quiet, comfortable, and surprisingly good on fuel. I do a combination of stop-start traffic and freeway driving, don't use PULP, and get around 10 litres / 100km out of a 4cyl auto. Not a bad car to go to and fro uni, work and clubbing in!
