  1. im sorry to all :( that was actually an example for people to post they're pictures :P tomorrow or asap i will upload my picture of the engine bay btw what colour is the exhaust/exhaust manifold meant to be , as for being paranoid :P lol ,just worried since the exhaust/exhaust manifold when the car accelerates makes an abnormal sound and this is my first new car : <_< I will be going to the service dealer soon also (busy all week ;) except monday lol
  2. You can use a lens cleaner kit , which either has a small brush or a hole in the surface of the cd,(the brush is on the underside of cd) ,the brush type cleaners have a slight risk of scratching the lens as a result of close contact with the lens nevertheless you should not be worried about using that (little percentage of occurance).A second moderately risky method would be to buy a can of compressed air with a nozzle and spray it into the middle(location of lens)/where ever it doesnt jam) of the cd slot , that way the air would move all that dust/dirt that prevents the lens from reading cd's,it is moderately risky by that you could jam the cd loader with the airguide from the can, best done when the car is off.
  3. Hey all, I would like to ask for your help,if possible :D Well im finding more things being replaced in the car from the service dealer and show them what they did So i would to ask if anyone could post a picture of theyre engine bay & exhaust manifold of their 2008 toyota model(automatic)/Ateva .In addition i would like to also ask what colour and condition should the exhaust manifold be for a fairly new one. I really appreciate your help :D
  4. Really alot , it makes my blood boil , but fire makes fire and im afraid if i storm back there and i take it in for repair they would make it much worse. So i might need some recomendations on what to do? Also im looking for an honest and good service dealer

yea it is quite an easy job. however when i replaced mine, i found 3 plugs connecting into my original toyota fugiten (its the dual deck one with cd player and cassette) i found out that 1 was for the power and front 4 speakers (the front components tweeter and bass) and 1 was for the rear 6x9's and power antenna. the remaining one i have NO IDEA. my head unit only has space for 2 plugs. could it be security of some sort? ive installed and the car is normal, been driving for around 2mths. so i still dont know what that last plug is for.m anyone an expert here? Im no expert but maybe the 3rd wire could be an earth plug?(ground) Just a suggestion , but if it aint fixing it aint broke ;)
  7. Ok we bought a new Toyota Ateva L car :D (its 6 months old) and it was working great ,but then we reached the 2000~kms where we were told that we could take it in for a complementary service , and when we go it back from the service dealer, i noticed poorer acceleration and a change in the engine tune and that the electric windows on the driver side needs to be pressed sequentially to go down (doesnt go down as usual) so we popped the hood up and saw that the technician had messed with the electrical system by seeing duct tape on the chassis , So i was asking what do they do in the complementary service and does anyone know a better service center close to sydney What should i do ?? (ps im not making this up for the doubters) I appreciate your help
