  1. okay...well i think tyre size is sorted. anyone know the answer to the other 2 q's of mine? cheers
  2. hey all, just want to confirm before I go out and get some new tyres and wheels. My ZRE is currently running 205/55/16. im planning on getting 17's....what tyre size should i go to roughly have the same rolling diametre and dont want to do too low on the profile as I want to maintain the decent ride comfort. would 215/45/17's suit? also, would a +45 offset rim with the above tyre fit the car without rubbing (i have lowered springs)? also, what is the wheel nut thread pattern? cheers
  3. did anyone from here rock up? there were alot of Corollas

  12. it should be alright...but ill keep you informed mate.
  13. mmmm...okay. cheers for the info. thats helped me make up my mind now. Just needed feedback from someone who actually owns a FT 4wd vehicle. thanks again mate.
  14. Nah, I'm all about genuine JDM parts from reputable manufacturers only - just trust their quality more. fair enough. well good luck with it. they are top cars.
  15. no sure. the site says 340mm fronts and 350mm rears. dont quote me on it but apprently the Lovell is the lowest dropped compared to Kings and Pedders. I should have mine installed this Saturday. Fingers crossed
  16. Any particular reason why you're not after a full timer? When the center diff lock is off in a fulltime 4wd its no different to an awd vehicle. The early 90's prados came in a part time setup, as did the low end 80 series' (DX, I believe). There are always conversions you can do too. You could easily put in a part time conversion for around $1k with a marks setup, though you'll probably pay a bit more in labour. I can point you in the direction of a 4wd specific forum if you're interested, they'd be able to help you a bit more. PM me if you want the details. So do these come with centre diff locks standard? well I was trying to stay away from full time 4wd as a few ppl were saying its not the best for daily and offroad use....but i guess they could be wrong. also, on a FT 4wd wouldnt maintenance be higher? cheers mate
  17. okay thanks. was just looking at different options of vehicles but dont want fulltime 4wd if possible. my 4runner has a electronic diff lock which is good for daily road use as its 2wd at those times.
  18. yeah they are awesome. looks and power in one. love it but hate the factor of limited body styling bits
  19. Hi, just wanting to know if the Prado in the mid to late 90's was full time 4wd or not. cheers
