Both front and rear half turn from the hardest setting
-
Konis are great...and yes I've got mine up in the Buy/Sell section for $700.
-
Many here who have lowered their car and run 45 profile tyres have had rubbing problems.
-
with the koni adjustables u will receive a lil white knob, u place it on top of the strut n turn clockwise for softer setting n anti clockwise for firmer setting.....
thats all there is to it :)
and how hard is it to get the cap thing off on top of the strut cos i've had some troubles , stupid question probably but its been ****ting me <_<
It comes off really easily actually. It's just the round little rubber bit. Are you sure you are peeling the right bit off?
-
This will definitely be my next car...er...when I get one that is. Waiting for my friend who use to work for Ford to come back to Aus.
-
So on the face-lift it requires modification and on the pre-fl it doesn't?

why not take a leaf out of E-Gene's book? White stivo, black gmax rims *HOTHOTHOT*!!
Thanks Jules.
I toyed with the white rims idea as well, but I think that it looks too much like the Civic Type R look so I thought let's try the dark rims. Besides, it's waaayyy easier to keep clean.

32PSI for Comfort
36PSI for Control
Should it be the other way round. Cos at 32psi you have more contact with the road.

Im sure the blue flame will complement the blue lights of a police car very well.
Plus you'll be very useful at the next BBQ.

but how the hell do u get them back in on the left hand side. I cant even fit half my hand down there
It's the ABS that gets in the way. It took me forever to get them in as well. And I thought it was going to be a simple install but it took me over an hour to get both my parkers in.

Spotted VIC
18 April 2006 Tuesday Night around 7pm
TNGCLA
on Chapel Street
I heard you before I saw you.

I believe anything from 33 - 36psi is pretty good.
-
I agree that the Toyo T1Rs are great. Too bad that they are a bit more expensive in the 17s other wise I would have gotten them too.
-
-
these Proxes 4 are the replacement for the Trampio TPG right?
I believe so. They are great. the thread pattern looks good as well.
-
I just changed my tyres from Sumitomos to a brand new set of 4 Toyo Proxes 4 215/40/17 rated at 87W. Firstly they don't rubbed my guards cos they are 40 profile and not 45 and having tested them a litte tonight in the rain, they are pretty grippy too.
I got them from Tyrepower @ $185 per tyre balanced and fitted.
Well, I must say that I really like them and would recommend them against more expesnive tyres like Pirelli's or Bridgestones.

H4 or H7?
-
Aren't these suppose to come pre-painted?
-
Just to add on some more information
Fulda Excelero - $256
Toyo Transpath SW - $185
Toyo Proxes 4 - $195
Toyo T1R - $295
These are all approximate pricing of course. All prices include fitting and balancing.

I've not really heard great stuff about the D2 coilovers nor the TRD suspension, but yes we've all heard pretty good comments abt Cusco.
-
it doesn't matter, because i just like to see the difference between his run in 05 and 06 with the parts he installed now and then.
Seriously i do think he should keep the CAI instead of opting to use the apollo.
Well, whatever the case, his Apollo system will defnitely be better than the stock airbox right? Therefore, why is he pulling less than a stock Stivo when he has the CES exhaust and a better intake system?
Every car is different I guess.

Awesome results~ 112kw same highest figure as the last dyno!
Woohoo Go mikeyy 111.9... well done mate :D
Yup, good job Bill and Mike. Big inprovement for Mike since the last Dyno, I see that trashing your car has really paid off :P
Shocking results for Lucio with the CES exhaust though, I was really considering getting one but it doesn't look too good now.

A Silver Stivo with short antenna and black TRD grill like mine.
