  1. Hey your also on cruising brisbane right? Good topic in regards to mods, i was wondering about all this myself and was about to start research. Would also be keen on any group buys as most things mentioned are on my to do list. With the fog lights i'll speak to our spare parts and see how much i can get them for if you like?
  2. My car is booked in tomorrow for the exact same thing, it rattles like mad. I work for them and they require the car for a full day. Can't believe how many other people have experianced the same problem!
  3. There's one girl in WA who works for them, pretty sure she got an Aurion & has/had a R33. Either Nellie or Bondie....I get mixed up. They stand out too much on a black car, and the Aurion badges are too plasticy looking. Make sure you add your details to STATISTICS OF AURION DRIVERS thread Next time the detailers come around to wash it i will get the badges removed. I do like A U R I O N written down the doors but the rear will be debadged. Also i love what you have done with the headlights, i have already printed the DIY instructions so wish me luck :) Just looking at some options, has anyone on the forum changed the front and rear bumpers to the TRD aurion. I don't want to pretend my car is something its not but i do think it looks aggressive. Also apg39 you mentioned meets on a thursday night?
  4. Hey, my names Carly my details are below AGE: 21 SEX: Female STATUS: Happily Taken REASONS FOR BUYING: Well i was always a Nissan fan and have previously owned a SSS Pulsar and a R33 Skyline and was recently looking at a S15 or a R34 another option was a Ford BF MKII XR6T. I work for a Toyota dealership and had a Aurion AT-X has a drive car for a couple of weeks. I feel in love with the performance, handeling, and potential to mod. It was also the sensible option with cheap parts, servicing, insurance in comparison to the turbos i was looking at (I paid $3700 for the R33 p/a). I look forward to finally owning a reliable car, that still maintains style and performance with a unbeatable reputation.
  5. Thanks for the welcome. Sounds like there must be a few Toyota employees that drive aurions? I am from brisbane and work for motorama toyota. Not looking at a engine conversion as superchargers have never really interested me, however since you mention turbo get cracking on that ECU! Aww come on, i like my badges :P
  6. Hey guys, I thought i would post the other car which is my boys daily. Over the past four years he has been adding bits and peices. If anyone can remember is was in Brisbane Autosalon 05. Outside: 19" Advanti Vapour Rims, lowered on king springs, custom tail lights from the US, tint, presige plates, dump pipe. Inside: Clarion in dash screen with sat nav, clarion roof mount, playstation 2 slim mounted in the centre consol, 2 amps, one mounted under seat and one in boot, Focal speakers through out, 4 x Cadence 10" subs, viper alarm with remote start and voice modual. Future plans: Not sure at this stage but looking at maybe selling for a R34 it now i have a aurion. The lights are different but let me know what you think. Thanks, Carly & Chris :) PS two are from my old dodgy camera phone. Upload some better ones soon and inside shots.
  7. Hey Guys, I'm only new but thought i would post up my car! I work for a Toyota Dealership so i picked her up for a decent price and took delivery on Friday 16/01 :) I have been a fan of the aurions and now have my own to play around with. Its stock at the moment but future mods include: A set of nice 20" rims, im going to go for a black rim with the chrome lip, king springs to lower it a little but further down the track i would like a set of tein coilovers, darker tint, personalised plates. Stereo wise i would like either alpine or pioneer, in dash screen with sat nav, roof mount, replace speakers, and a single sub, amp under the seat. Later on i would like to look at ghost airbrushing, and play around with a couple of performance mods. I don't know much about performace mods on the aurions having just come from a skyline where there is alot of info available so your input would be great :) Thanks, Carly!
  8. Hey Everyone, I'm Carly and im 21 from Brisbane. I have just bought a 2007 Aurion Sportivo SX6. As a daily i own a 97 Corolla CSi. My Partner ownes a modified 2005 V6 Camry Sportivo 5 Speed Manual so a few Toyotas parked in the garage :) I was converted from nissan having previously owned a SSS pulsar and my beloved R33 skyline. Few plans in mind for the aurion which include a nice set of 19" rims, super lows, duel dump pipes, pesonalised plates, darker tint and then audio upgrade to something along the lines of alpine or pioneer. Way down the track maybe some ghost air brushing. The corolla daily is boring having kept it stocko. Camry Sportivo mods include 19" Advanti Vapours, lowered on kings, dump pipe, custom tail lights, clarion front screen with sat nav, clarion roof mount, playstation two slim, focal speakers and amp, the boot install includes 4 x cadence 10" subs and huge amp. Car was entered into autosalon brisbane 05. I'll find some pics and upload soon. Looking forward to some input for the aurion pahaps performance wise. I'm looking at light mods, not a supercharger kit. Oh for those that live in brisbane, i work at a local Toyota dealership for those after a new car or cheaper parts. Feel free to contact me :)
