  1. The most recent units run WinCE 5.0. Mine was made prior to that and runs WinCE 4.3. I have tried TomTom on it and could not get it to work. The SD card supplied by Auspacks only comes with Route66 and Finean, both of which are pretty boring. TomTom is alright and I use that on my phone, but in the car, I'm not really a fan of it. I chose iGO8 because it was the easiest to obtain and get to work, and I like the interface. I find igo8 little out of whack in my area. running R15 Aust Maps and Tom Tom to be perfect obtaining any map or softwar enot issue ans i run all 3 diffrent types. they are times where 1 is better that other 2 and vis versa depending on the location. 2. Well yes, you are right that is an S-Class which from the beginning is already one very expensive car to have. But its not just about the car you see, its what one do for their car to tell the whole world what they're all about. For example, would you spend so much for your camry to turn it into one of those VIP Cruise mobil? These people will do it simply because they either have accessable spending power to do it, or at least, they spend whatever they have to make themselves looks rich. I know people who are like that, sad but what can I say? In fact, VIP styling started in Japan from sedan like toyota crown, or chasers etc. They want to turn their car and make it look european and extravagant. Again, VIP is just the term for this kind of car styling and its all about creating an image of rich persona and nothing to do with the meaning of VIP. It's like the term JDM, nothing to do with car made in japan (Corolla is made in S. Africa for example), rather is about styling a car that looks like how the Japanese does it. You just have to look at Auto salon in Sydney........look what he cabin boys started and made huge success. People will always have diffrent views to things there is no right or wrong here so now one is winner or a loser....and there crowd for all. My corty tc v8 is for fun , grunt, Drags at eastern creek and weekend cruises. personally aurion for me is just for looks & comfort, call it a work horse or family dinner car. This debate can go for ever. :-) Azza
  3. I get about 512km when the fuel light first flashes on. Azza
  4. I assume the unit has wince 5.0 on it? and that all the GPS software and maps are on memory card - if so you can install pretty much destinator and tomtom and others too. Azza
  5. well said.... nice car love the extended chrome bits in the rear spoiler and what i think looks like bmw antenna rear screen Azza

  9. I just love how deep the colour comes out after a waxing with NXT 2.0: As for the 5 Star Shine, I can't care how many washes a wax is guaranteed for. After just one wash, I am already unsatisfied with the finish and it is then time for another waxing. a 5 year guarantee is a bit pushing though in my opinion. Just marketing hype. Also check out this thread: Car Detailing Tips No dj There more involved... there diffrent product available these days all claiming to be the best for your paint. wax silcon Acylic PTFE Glaze PPS and list continues... They all have there pro's and con's that why Iam asking - the prevous link post don't really say much or covers everything and no Iam not being lazy..... Your just being the typical daryl I know from day one just bugger off mate if you don't have constructive replys save then band width and your breatth. PS just a suggestion you know what works well for me type what you have to type in word pad walk away for few hours then come back to it and see if you really want to post it, after you have cooled down. Azza
  10. lads, I don't know about you guys but I been mothers brand freak i have always used mothers products to my car sealant and waxing etc. what have you guys been using? I cam across this yesterday and what do you think http://www.5starshine.com/ - 5 year gurantee - Iam bit skeptical. Dj I know this has been brought up before but Iam asking again Azza
  11. Toyota been informed about it the person that say's yeah or nah was on holidays. my cars been booked in for next monday. Yeah for sure I will post the results - I will also get 2 spray painters opions on th issue before i go to toyota so i can raise business case study to as why they should repair it etc etc. if they say it nothing or they want to just touch it up with paint brush..... Azza
  12. dj thats not my problem - thats toyota's problem - shouldn't have to do al lthat when cars under warranty plus cut ands poslish takes paint layer away. A car of that age should not be showing signs of surface rust unless you have scraped the paint of. To me that is manufacturing problem. Thanks for the advise. Azza
  13. here 2 pictures sorry for delay been wet jaems yeah so am I considering my car has comliance plate of june 07 which makes the car 1.7 years old and the only reason i noticed it is cause i like to detail my car every week in and out and i am fussy i pick up on everything. money is money i work hard for it
  14. You hit it right on the nail there daryl. Azza
  15. Dood every tyre is diffrent my rears are 44psi and my fronts are 36psi it depends on manufature and style of tyre go with what bob jane told you over pumping your tyre can have nasty tyre explosion and could cause death as it has previously to people that have over pumped there tyres. Azza
  16. Leroy, you saying that all the members here adding light kits, Thai grills, fat 20 inch rims etc are all wannabee's by making there cars look more luxurious than it really is? Azza73 No... I'm saying that if you go as low and shiny as the examples in your first post, then the effect is lost. (Eg. you no longer look important anymore, just another bling machine out the front of a nightclub) I personally think that if you took the rear wing off the TRD Aurion, it would actually look more executive (and thus VIP) than those in the first post. I do agree with you there Leroy. Styling a car like the Aurion to be like the ones shown in that link in the first post does look gangsta. It has been stereotyped to much and with the wrong person driving, it just looks wrong. It is a style which we don't really follow here and would look seriously out of place. One the car gets to the point that you can say something 'Bling' about it, you have just gone too far. But each to their own. Personally I have bondie's attitude - Why be like everyone else here is Australia it like when you first saw the Subaru wrx it was unquie these dayts once you seen one you seen them all. unless you go diffrent with mock up sytle of the aurion ducks tail roof spoiler and diffrent style of mags lips etc then its just another aurion unless you have some super turbo / super charge modfied engine - I conratulate you all on your awesome aurions they look good but there all look smiliar. its all about being unquie and diffrent. thats my 2 bobs worth Azza

  18. thats the look i want to achieve but not as low with my white aurion or I'll be ripping my lips and skirts off - hehehehee Azza

  21. You don't want too fine of a mesh because it ruins the effect. The mesh they sell is the same as the mesh that came on my grill. I received my grill like this with this sized mesh on it. Like I said though, the Autobarn stuff is exactly the same, just in a gloss black. You will still see through it in bright light, but you're better off doubling up on mesh rather than using an even finer mesh. I will go and check it out tonight Dj - post picture of front grill head on not side view you probably already have but i want to see close up of one and see the diffrence cheers Azza

  23. Why bother with the middle man? Just go down to Autobarn or the likes. That stock the mesh, and in black as well. like $20 for a 1200mm x 280mm section of it. I agree but do they have the finer mesh grill? or just the same sized mesh as on the grill from thai? I want to get rid of the standard big holed mesh and use finer one with smaller holes. and i don't want to double up grills Azza
  24. Hi Lads, I have manged to locate some finer mesh sizes if people are intrested. from a mate he will get back to me with some prices. 2 pic posted of the 2 diffrent sizes Azza
