  1. I am restoring a Toyota 25 Pick up late 50's early 60's model. The engine has been identified as being a 12R. I need to source the usual things like carby kit, brake cyl, clutch master cly. I was wondering if anyone could help with info re the availability of these types of parts. Regards Graham
  2. I have just found out that the engine in my Toyota 25 1960 pickup is a 12 R. Means nothing to me, but does anyone know if parts e.g. carby kit is available. Also does anyone know if clutch master cyl and brake cyl's etc are available? Regards Graham
  3. Whatever we do with it, I am sure we will be paying it off with increased taxes for years to come. It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. The only way to stop a recession is to create jobs through infrastructure spending, not giving out lollies to the kiddies.
  4. I have recently purchased a Toyota 25 Pick Up. I understand it was imported into Australia in the early 1960's by JC Anderson who owned a transport company and car dealership that at the time sold Peugeot, Citroen, Jaguar and Simca. He was assessing the vehicle to see if he wanted to take on the Queensland distribution. He also brought in a couple of Hino Contessa. Eventually he decided to take on Mazda. Anyway the Toyota 25 Pick Up was used in his transport company as a delivery vehicle in Western Queensland. I purchased it last year and I intend to restore it (it is in remarkable condition) and it will live the rest of its days in a transport museum in Gatton Queensland. I am seeking information re this vehicle,e.g. what type of engine does it have etc. I have been told it is an early Corolla engine. The eingine goes well but I need a carby kit and brake cylinders etc. Any information re parts etc would be welcome. Regards Grahammac.
