  1. A spare $2500 would be nice! the aftermarket TRD cat-back is awesome!
  2. don't forget to rip the Carbon filter out! there's 2 filters in the stock Aurion. and follow DJKORS Hose mods :) and enjoy!
  3. Stock for reference. I have booked her in Tuesday morning to have Lukey's fitted on her. A few mates of mine have them and they sound perfect. $450 the lot is an awesome quote :) happy indeed!
  4. 2 1/2 mate $300 doesn't include fitting. It shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes tho if there a fit. If there not I'll order the Borla's because who knows what excuse they will come up with for the right fitting, I don't want to pay $500 in labor.
  5. Nice pics guys. Any pics of the rear exhaust where the flange joins and the mufflers? Like this is this the stock TRD Exhaust?? WOW!!!
  6. hahah nice! Well if I don't spend to much back home in Thailand then I'll go extreme.
  7. Cheers mate, Where did you get your twins from? I'm not after a super loud setup, just an octave or 2 higher :) I had a loud exhaust in another car and after a while I got over it. Appearance is important too, so the stock just doesn't pack the punch for me. It would be awesome if all members posted their twin setups.
  8. awesome! I did that as a test a while back! yeah it's heaps better. If I could do some thing with the resonator it should be more effective and louder, not as loud as removing the snorkel. but just the theory of sucking in above and below the case.
  9. Awesome mate!! A+++ On that note it was more realistic to swap the 2 hoses as the blue is a perfect length. In conclusion I'm going for a drive
  10. Your right mate. They have been around for ages. But you cannot go to any reputable K&N dealer or auto parts outlet and order them. In addition to saying that, it was a journey trying to order the 33 2326 K&N I was basically promised by everyone they can order it. I gave up after 2 months and got it from ebay US.
  11. Sorry mate, I didn't make it clear I fully read the thread but not upto date with the definitions of car parts :P In the pic it looks like the red line is connected to the the airbox and the blue is removed or looped as you have shown except you swapped the hose. and it will not effect the temperature gage? In addition I might be mistaken but it also looks like you have swapped the blue and brown hoses. Anyway 10 mins later all done mate cheers for that. I also swapped the blue and brown. what exactly will the disconnected hose do that is looped? can it build pressure or damage anything?
  12. Interesting DJKOR, +I'm a little confused on instructions but I'll take a look
  13. No i didn't mate, Do you have any instructions to swap the Vacum hose? what does it involve? Cheers mate
  14. Remove that crappy carbon filter. There only good for Hydro :P These Hinges can be a bit tricky Keep the nuts in a safe place! hehe the Filter is glued in by plastic rivets, so rip it off!!! All done! now put it back. Make sure to clip those hinges in tight or you'll be scratching your head for ages, as they clip in and make the sound there gone in but not all the way :)
  15. I Like the new K&N filters for the 2GR-FE sold in America. K&N Typhoon for Aurion (2GR-FE)
  16. DJKOR, I'm just after a nice note for now. latter when I get back from Bangkok I'll add extractors and a full exhaust utilising the aftermarket Tail Pipes. I'm going to take her to AAA Exhausts next week. They gave me a quote of $300 the pair. So not so bad as compared to the extreme quotes at Exhaust Technology. It's really funny because America have loads of 07 Camry mods for the twin exhausts. But then again there not total Ford and Holden heads too :P
  17. This might sound retarded but a mildly damp shamy works for me
  18. I found a few Exhaust manufacturers that make the Aurion twin exhaust especially engineered for the 07 Camy (07 Aurion) in the U.S This one for example This is especially perfect for me because the flanges fit and it can be done by myself easily. And most of all I don't have to go through an Exhaust fitter to exaggerate costs of up to $900+ for just a set of Exhaust tail pipes. Does Australia stock Borla or any other twin rear exhaust with correct flange offset for more performance than stock? I've searched for days and starting to loose hope in the Toyota aftermarket in Australia. I want like this...
  19. Just received my K&N High- Flow Air Filter part #33-2326 from the K&N U.S site, I must say there is some sound improvements and possible performance improvements. I believe there is ways of improving the intake via simple modifications like removing the charcoal filter (carbon filter) which is better in the garden ;) . There is a carbon filter, which adsorbs the HC that accumulates in the intake system when the engine is stopped, is used in the air cleaner case in order to reduce evaporative emissions. This filter is maintenance-free. Along with the use of the air intake control system, an air intake control valve is provided on the air cleaner case.
  20. My friend, Bob Jane and Rodney Jane are crap mate! stay away from their wheels too! nasty
  21. I got 3 sets of keys and remotes when I bought mine
  22. How much was the total cost if you don't mind me asking? Nice! Looks Authentic from what I can make out.
  23. HOWS THIS!!!! Went into Toyota Port Rd South Australia, just to ask for a price of fog lights "not fitted" he came back with a smirk (the guy was a w@nker) and said you ready?? $1100!!!
  24. Just ordered a BMC drop in filter. I'll drop it in hopefully Tuesday. Should get some nice Dino tuning results :)
