  1. Spotted... 4th Corolla Sportivo known in Hawthorn. Facelift Black Corolla /w Sunroof. Spotted in Swinburne Multilevel parking lot. Plate number is TWF346.
  2. ur still right, these power gain stuff are very subjected to cars. Some gets good performance out of it and some gets minor performance. I am just looking for something that is easy to get it on and run. My objectives now is to get a good tube for my HKS filter. And its aint cheap to do so... Can i have some contacts for the shops u all always visit?? This would help alots!
  3. The KN Typhoon are specially made for corolla t-sport which is the identical corolla to our spotivo here. The filters u guys mentioned are for toyota matrix over the US which is a wagon. So i am no so sure they have the identical engine bay as corolla hatches although the XRS model has the Celica engine installed. I think KN puts more efford in doing RnDs. At least the price u paid for comes with a Drychargers to protects ur engine. I also checked the price from Ebay, 168 USD(220AUD) without shipping. And they come in sexy red as well!
  4. You can get an AEM CAI for $230 to your door and an Injen for $335 these are proven to give power and have got the R&D to support this, thats cheap enough in my view to toss the filter if you want and get a better one. Thats my 2 cents. K&N $600 cheez were are you getting you quotes mate?. cool, So what is the model name and code for the CAIs u mentioned? Thanks specialized
  5. Where can i buy the CAI without buying the filter? I mean thats impossible. Custom tubing ofcourse will be expensive. Currently i have my eye on K&N Typhoon air filter kit. But thats about 600 dollar HERE!?
  6. I currently lives in south Melbourne. Can i have the address for brimbank motors? Btw, which shops u guys normally hang out? It would be nice to actually meet u all in person and look at ur modification jobs!
  7. I currently has a HKS air filter tobe installed into my car. But the only problem i am having now is who can do a great piping job for the filter? I also have future plans like installing a new muffler, looking for factory cap-back. Any makes suggestions?
  8. Hahaha, i tought your talkin about my car lol. But you sure they are compatible? I heard dealer said thier built is different. He said there are one ppl actually tried TRD springs on last years Spotivo. Ended up the car become unbalanced and over short(Coil cannot stands the different Damper). Just to take precaution, dun want to waste the money.
  9. Yeap, i knew that. What do you expect when u just get a new car? Turbo Charge on 1st 500km?
  10. Have you think of TIEN sus? I think they are good brand...
  11. Depends on how you want your car to be. ← I was thinking to have street performance suspension, not too low or too high. Just right for bumps. Thinking of changing whole sus, not only coil.
  12. Anyone got sugestion for that suspension to install? I was thinking of changing it...
  13. Only Sportivo is South African built. The rest is Japanese. if i'm not mistaken R and L is RHD or LHD ← You said RHD? Whats that?
  14. I also want to know what is the different about ZZE123 and ZZE123R. What is defferent about this 2 chassis and what are thier characteristics? Is ZZE123R built has special mount for ZZ2-GE engine? Coz on the japanese parts web site, they seems to have parts for ZZE123 and rarely have parts for ZZE123R. This is the main concern if I want to modd the car. Btw, do u know that Aust corolla hatch are made in Africa? but Corolla Altima are made in Japan, that's why thier parts are slightly different. For eg, go look at your Corolla manual guide. See the DIY section for car light bulbs. thanks:)
  15. Hi, i am new here! and just got my corolla about a month ago :D I took my car and went to tuners garage and i found out something... They told me the car have different chasis then the corolla in Japan nor the older version of the corolla. This leads me to a no where to get a compatible parts for my car. So i went on9 to findout more about my cars and the rest of corolla. My car appears to be built on chassis ZZE123R. Which is the latest body on the market, currently there are company trying to make parts on the car. There are older version of the corolla chassis which have a hips of aftermarket parts, chassis like ZZE12#, ZZE121, ZZE122, ZZE123, and i recently found out ZZE123G. The 1st europe corolla was built on ZZE121 at 2001(i think). I am here to seek more info about these chassis and want to know how far can i go with the corolla i've just got... Thanks. B) Here is something interesting to find out where your car are made and the buit infor with your vehecle's VIN. http://www.analogx.com/contents/vinview.htm
