  1. Those mirrors are great aren't they. Yes they are. Thanks a lot for the info you provided.
  2. They are fully functional (power mirror and indicators). I'll get covers painted tomorrow and will post more photos. $219 wasn't bad. Also visibility is heaps better. Now waiting for Phillips 35WHID kit. I'll try them without retrofit but if they blind other drivers will have to do it properly.
  3. Thanks for that. I couldnt find any info if thece actually are HID projectors. I'll ask the seller.
  4. I have Phillips HID kit and was looking for headlights with HID projectors. I found couple of places that have headlights for camry with HID projectors. Any opinions....? HERE and HERE .

  7. I had spoken to local Toyota dealer and the bloke said that I wont be able to fit them on. Today I read DJKOR post and decided to go and just buy it. They had these in stock. I come home and primed the covers. After removing door panel and orginal mirror and surprise.. new mirror doesnt fit....just. I had redrilled 2 holes up (about 5mm) and miror fits perfectly. I fited both of them and waiting for paint on the covers to dry. Now I'm trying to figure out how to connect the indicator. I know I need to rewire original mirror plug but have no idea where and how to hook it up. Can someone help me or provide a link to some info please. I have Camry Altise upgrade 2004. I'll post some photos tomorrow.
  8. It connects to ECU speed wire. All connected now.

    LPG

Camry Conquest '99 V6 (sold) and my misus Camry CSI V6 both run on gas. Both standard conversion (non gas direct injection). Converted at EzyGas. Had it for over 2 years no problems. Run like a dream. Cost of servicing was $65 per service (every 10k). Depending on tank size it will take less than half of the boot space. I had 75l tank and I coyld put plenty shopping. Full size suitcase wont fit tho. A very minimal power loss (hardly noticable). on 70l of gas I got 400km city drive and 500km freway only drive. I'm thinking of converting Altise '04 but need to wait 8 more months to get goverment rebate. MCV36R is listed as LPG compatibile on Toyota website. But when it comes to 2.4l I heard that it is not a good idea to do a conversion. Maybe it will be a good idea to talk to a few gas installers and see whet they say.
  10. I have DVD unit with GPS that has a 'car speed' output (single wire). I have no idea about electrical/electronic car systems and I cant figure out where to connect it. Could someone explain where I should hook it up. Maybe take photo or provide a link so I can have a look. I have Camry Altise 2004. Any help will be appreciated.
  11. Bought sensors on eBay from Australian seler for $89. Followed the guide, installed all works great. Sensors
  12. I thought about it. Will call spare parts shop and ask.
  13. Where I could get side mirror covers with indicator or just LED indicators for Camry Altise 2004.
  14. I went to see a second installer and it he find out that unit wasnt properly earthed. 10 min and all was good. However I took it out and installed smaller Pioneer unit that blended in my dashboard perfectly.

    Power seat

I had a look again and it seems that side closer to the door is pulling a bit faster. It really feels unconfortable to drive. I will try to have a look myself tho I have no idea If anyone has any shematics it will be very helpful.

    Power seat

I have a 2004 Toyota Camry and have problem with driver power seat. The back rest of the seat tilts back ok however when tilting forward it doesnt go all the way forward. While it tilts forward it seems that one side of the back rest moves quicker. If someone could post a link to the seat assembly or give me a suggestion how to fix it it will be great.
  17. Charged me $250. Took about 45 min. May ask what model of the car it will go in? I'm looking for new unit too.
  18. I talked to installer (at Autobarn) and he blamed the DVD unit. I will get a second opinion from other installer. Can anyone reccomend someone. I hope it can be fixed.
  19. Just a quick update. I had unit installed in my car. It des pretty good job. The only thing is that I can hear (well how to say it?) a feedback from the engine through a speakers while I drive. It is not much but really annoying. It sounds like fan speeds up with engine rave. I’m not sure why it does it. It was too late when I noticed it and I could go back and ask installer. I’ll take photo tomorrow.
  20. Thanks for that. I dont really need it loud. All I want is a qualit (with reasonable price). I think I'l go with your advice. Thank you
  21. I'm looking to replace my speaker . All I want is something with nice sound quality and a little bit of power. I dont need subwoofer. This is what I'm thinking to get: Head unit: Link Rear speakers Link Or Link Front speakers Link Amplifier One of these I had a look at the Alpine speakers within same price range but I dont know how they stack up agains above speakers. I'm not sure if I need amplifier or not. All I want is to run system efficiently with a god sound quality. What are your thoughts.
  22. It wasnt that expensive. Auctioned and got it for $480. Sold my TomTom to cover the cost. Ah well it looks like I need a proffesional to have it installed. Can anyone reccomend someone.
  23. I was wondered if someone could help me with installation of the new unit in my car. I'm quite handy with tools but never done anything like that before. I have Camry Altise 2004 and I would like to install THIS unit in my car. I need instructions how to: - remove an exisiting unit - prepare and install a new unit (do I need any adapters or kits) - the best place to put gps receiver (out of sight without losing signal strenght) and how to do it I hope someone will be able to help me. I'm on the budged so I would like to do it myself. However if it proves difficult I would welcome reccomendations for the good honest installer or pay someone to do it. I'm in Mill Park but I can drive if not too far. This is what it looks like at the moment
