Here is a weird problem. Recently I got Sportivo 17’’ wheels and set of Michelin tyres 235/45R17. Wheels were balanced and aligned. Also last week I had 4 slotted discs and new brake pads installed. All works great however time to time when I brake the steering wheel turns to the left or right but it doesn’t do it all the time. The problem appeared after wheels and tyres were fitted. My brakes were due for the change and I hoped it might help but it still happens. I thought that it might be because of wider, low profile tyres. Any ideas what it might be wrong?

Just found today. The cluster has a different connectors at the back. Ahh well.....

I'm sure he had more than that from his parents. The fact that they come to me with explanation and covered all costs make me give a kid a chance. They are good people and I don't want all that troubles with court. Now putting it behind me time to retrofit again. I decided to sell Bi-xeon projector and keep TSX. Anyone interested? Also I need cheap second hand headlights to use while retrofitting.

This morning my neighbour knocked to my door with my headlights. I was stunned. It turns up that his grandson and his mate were the ones who removed headlights from the car. My neighbour is a retired bloke and always comes around too see what I’m doing. He said he was shocked when he saw headlights in his son’s garage. His son offered to cover a cost of the insurance claim and the cost of the damaged headlights (front face scratched and cracked on both of them). I decided to keep the projectors. I called insurance company and cancelled the claim. Also it turned up that they didn’t organize anything due to computer glitch.... Now I have to think about new setup.

I would like to loan set of headlights for Toyota Camry 2002-2006 (for a fee). I don’t have spare ones to use while my lights are of the car. Also I will be looking for the set of s2000 projectors. If anyone can help please PM me.

Thanks guys. I'm not holding my breath. Just had a call and all parts will be ready tomorrow avro. Yes all stock. Yes it was nice to have HID. It really improves night driving. Whoever has these on the car knows what I'm talking about. Someone knew its stuff well. The lights were removed without opening the bonnet what would trigger the alarm. I got in the car earlyorning. Because I approached car from the back I didn't see missing headlights. As soon as I switched lights on I heard noise the ballasts. I thought that maybe connection was loose. Opened bonnet, got out of the car and :| :| :|. They were gone only some crcked plastic left on the ground. I was really upset but what can you do? All my neighbers are top blokes and already retired so they are not interested in these things. Anyway I got over it. Will get stockies tomorrow and put some Phillips bulbs. Instead of doing another retro I'll will upgrade brakes to DBA slotted in front and DBA standart at the back. Also thinking about getting a sportivo cluster but at the moment waitting for dealer confirmation if it has same wiring. If anyone wants to do tutorial for HID please so so. Just don't advertise location. I had a quite a bit of help from you guys on this site and it is always appreciated.

I'm still speachless. I don't think that it because I posted photos on forums. It could be "random act of kindness". However I won't be posting my location and all trades are postage only or meet somewhere. I decided not to do anymore retros. Instead I will upgrade brakes and few other components.

I just posted a photo without paying attention to the differences between 5 and 5.5. So Sportivo 5.5 into my Altise 5.5 should be plug and play. What about gear position indicator?

I have Altise face lift 2004 (Gen5.5). I really like the instrument cluster from Sprotivo. I was wondering if it will be possible to just plug one into my car. I looked around but couldnt find much info. I will go and see if wreckers have one but before I do I would like to know if it can be done. Regards Greg

I decided to remove photos of the car. Last night had my headlights stolen from the car. Also front bumper bar, front grill were damaged. The insurance company arranged replacement for headlights and damaged parts. I'm really disgusted witch such a low act. I got some HID parts left and will put them on sale later on.

It takes patience and lots of reading. Once projector is seated in the lefrector you can use factory adjustments to align headlights.

Picked tyres today. I went for Michelin Pilot Preceda PP2, 235/45ZR17. Hope they will serve me well. Will Post some photos this week.

No glare mate. You can stare directly into the lights and wont get blinded.

Had a look around and it seems like BS Adrenaline RE 001 225/50R17 or 215/50R17 are the way to go. Here what tyre calc come up with. Opinions?

Just trying to decide between tyres. I'm thinking either Bridgestone, Goodrich or Michelin (other suggestion welcome) My budget is around $220 per tyre. I searched forums nut couldn't find thread that would compare these tyres. Any help is appreciated. Looking for 215/50R17 or 225/50R17

I think this is due to camera exposure. The 2 and 3 are closer to reality. I'm sure they have cut off shield but not sure about foreground limiter. Also I have acrylic headlights protectors on. Thinking about stick on stuff but never see one before.
