  1. rollamods thanks. i guess i was working off old catalogues and poorly trained dealers.

can you please give us the part numbers from your connection at king springs for zze? this will help people who want to purchase king springs from dealers with the right part numbers. and it could help 03mikesportivo.

  2. what have i done wrong? sorry but if there is a forum rule to "official" events please let me know about it because i have missed it.

i am car cruising on anzac day regardless of what this forum is doing.

i think you have misread me. i am not organising a car cruise to replace your meet up. i am not trying to fragment the forum.

please remember you did not give a firm date and you did say "Up to you Guys"

i was trying to be friendly by letting other people know about events they might like to go to. there are a few good events on this month like dyno day at good guys performance and hot 4s photoshoot.

  3. Front (measured from guard edge to ground level) is 625MM

    Rear ' is 615MM

please do not measure like that. you should measure from wheel center (hub) to guard lip.

did you look at your springs for the coil part numbers?

  4. I have a Remus fitted to my IZZ-FE hatch, a bit pricey at $850 for the rear muffler but looks great with two 75x92mm square crome tips, does not drone, and fits to all existing bolts and mounting points.  Not too loud but has a nice deep note unlike straight through type mufflers than can sound very high pitched.  Also completely emissions compliant.  Toyota do offer an off the shelf unit which also sounds ok and would be cheaper

    izz-fe welcome!

on friday the last meet was like an easternats pre-meet. i might get in trouble for saying this (other cars) there was an astra turbo which made the most smoke from a fwd! too bad there were no sportivos around to match.

remus is expensive but as you said it fits too all existing bolts and points. i think many sportivo members here would like to hear your muffler in person.

  5. trd141 no was not hard.

i only said things the way i did because 03mikesportivo started this topic by referencing sportivo, standard corolla (ascent), metric and imperial measurements. i answered against the references made by 03mikesportivo.

i know sportivo and ascent are very different cars.

  6. front tyre top is 30MM from the edge of the guard

rear tyre top is 15MM from edge of the guard

you should not take measurements from the tyres because of wear and tear. measure from center of wheel (hub) to guard lip.

50mm springs should be approximately front 345mm and rear 340mm.

look at your spring coils for the printed part number. it is usually on the middle coil. it should have SL for super low.

  7. 02-03 sportivo is lower than ascent by 20mm.

please remember king springs do not make springs for 2zz. i understand they re-use springs from old corolla just because they still fit.

if you have 50mm springs they will lower a sportivo from stock by 25mm.
