  1. I don't think Paint Protection is available at Panel Beaters...

Maybe you can buy the bottles from toyota and apply it yourself to save some money...

It goes on the same as polish... Do it undercover, cover the entire car with Paint Protection and leave for 40 mins, then take it all off in the same swirl pattern as you polish a car...

  2. Yeah man... I get to drive them everyday at work :D :D :D ...

They go really well and I like the lift at 6,500rpm in 3rd gear too... That felt friggen awesome and was too busy looking for coppers so I didn't see the speedo...

They are an overall awesome car, nice design, could do with a lower suspension height as standard but yeah, thats the way it is... The 2ZZ motor goes heaps better in the Corollas than the Celicas...

Even the Manual Celicas bog down really bad on take off... Must be the diff or gearbox or something along those lines... I havn't looked into it yet...

  3. There have been no recalls for the shocks leaking at all...

However, they are not the best made shocks as they come from South Africa and they leak prematurely, the rear shocks on the ZZE122R Corollas are the worst... Get them checked aswell...

There are no other problems with them as far as I know...

And Screaminrolla, nice photo in your alvatar... I wonder who took that shot??? :P :P :P ...

  4. Not a problem man... It's not Toyota that ripps ppl off, only the other companies that use our dealers...

We use Fortron Injection Flush, Fuel Systems Cleaners and Petrol Cleaner stuff... They give us days out because we sell their products...

And we only use their products as Toyota doesn't make them...

And the engine flush and petrol conditioner are both 250mL bottles... So yeah, thats another thing that isn't needed...

  5. Stoopid Head, what dealer was that at???

I work at Toyota and I can tell you that it doesn't happen at our work on a normal test...

If we are testing for anything in specific to acceleration or anything to do with power or performance then yes, a good thrashing is done...

Also, Always use Toyota Parts, they are much better for the car... And misc costs are usually around $10 for floor mats, seat covers and waste disposal like regular rubbish and oil disposal...

  6. I work for Toyota and the injection flush is really not needed on a 10k...

It's just fuel and cleaning additives that's hooked up to the fuel line off the top of the fuel filter and run the car until the can is empty... We charge something like $90 per service... It's not Toyota that sells it, it's another company that has reps at dealers that ring all the customers and bull**** to the customers that "Your service advisor has requested that you have the flush done" and stuff like that...

There is no need to get it on a service at all...

When the car has a lot more kms on the clock, and you can feel that the injectors are clogged, then try a flush... If they are still clogged, then take them out and get them professionally cleaned in an injector cleaning machine...

And back to the topic, the only parts needed for a 10,000km service on a Rolla is an oil filter and the sump plug washer...
