  2. I'll look at my invoice tonight

    Thanks Bud.

    You have a V6, yeah?!

What did you do with the factory muffler?

I am keen to purchase a muffler from a V6 Altise Sport, Sportivo or Azura.

As these have the factory fitted "Sports Mufflers".

Anyone keen to part with a V6 Muffler?

    PM me!

  3. Terry, you have done the Whiteline Rear Sway Bar, did you do the font also?

Did you need to do a wheel alignmemt after adding the sway bar?

How have you found this mod, 3 years on?

P.S. I have tried to PM you, however it says that you can not take PM's?...

  4. after i dont know how long of contemplating to get a Sportivo Muffler, i finally got one :D

    had it installed today.

i just want to thank 'Buddha' on here, for telling me about the place i got the muffler for such a great price :)

anyway, it isnt very loud, its noticable, but not outrageously loud

between 1000-2000rpm you dont hear anything, after 2000rpm is where you start to hear some noise, but it isnt too bad ;)

this is the best sound clip i could make...with the limited capability of my digital camera

    Terry,

What is the part number under your muffler? Does it say Walker?

Do you have the Toyota Part Number?

    Thanks in advance...

  5. Hi All,

What sort of spark plugs are the 2.4L 4cyl guys using.

    I have a Sportivo and was looking on the Denso website and found the following;

    Make: TOYOTA

    Model: Camry

    Engine: 2.4L 2AZFE ACV36R

    Year: 2002 to 5/2006

    Spark Plug: K20RU11 (SK20R11 40 series)

    Iridium Power: IK20

    Iridium Tough: VK20

    Gap: 1.1 mm

Has anyone tried the Iridium Power plugs before?

Any improvements / Performance or Economy.

    Happy to discuss...

  6. ive got 10A13 on mine, that's a standard v6 sportivo muffler. if you have the 4 banger sportivo, then youve just got the bog standard muffler thats the same as the altise.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes mine is a 2.4L 4cyl.

Intersting to note the different part number for the V6.

Does yours also state "WALKER" on the bottom?

I spoke to Toyota Parts yesterday and they where ademit that the Sportivos have different mufflers than that of the lesser models.

And according to the original sales brochure it clearly states both 4cyl and 6cyl have a sports muffler.

Maybe a call to Toyota Head Office is in order also.

I will contact Walker/Lukey tomorrow, I will post up what I find.

  7. Thanks for the update guys...

    I had a quick look under my Sportivo and found that the Part Number was the following combination;

    TOYOTA

    10H06

    Walker

Now I assume that these OEM fit mufflers (Sportivo) were made locally by Lukey/Walker Mufflers.

I wonder if they also made the Sportivo Sports Muffler?

Can someone check what the digits / stamp is under there muffler.

Then maybe we could contact Lukey/Walker direct and see if they have similar / excess stock of this muffler!

    Worth a try at least...

    Glenn

  8. OUCH $600?? <_<

WELL I bet MY CAI is giving me 10hp more  :P <_< (serious! $600 for an intake is just a rip off!)

    2062019_115.jpg

If i were you i'd stick with the stock filter. With Pod filters, you need to clean the O2 Sensor regularly.

Yeah ya right 600 bucks as IF!!!

stock filter? how comes? when i got the intake for free from K&N Head office?

    Blacktivo, please update us mate...

Is the K&N kit still on the vehicle, have you noticed any worthwhile gains? Fuel saving etc?

I am suprised that no one is really interested in these basic power ups?!

  9. Shouldnt be a problem my hg premier, rx7, and astra all had sideways play.

My Sportivo has a lot of sideways freeplay also.

I have taken it to Toyota on numerous occassions, they could not fix and said its normal.

The same sort of freeplay is in the Auto Shifter also, it just moves around and round. It is not firm like my Accord Euro.

  10. It all depends, have a play around before going to waste your money on new switches do as lateralus said and swap the drivers door switch with the passenger door switch and see if it works?

Good idea actually, i might try it out

Thanks Danny. I will try the drivers' auto switch in the other doors.

I first thought of doing this after my parents picked up a BMW that has this feature... It's a really handy thing to have I reckon.

Any update on this, did you get the Auto Function to work on all doors, or just the front?
