Buy these eyelids, buy them now,
Pay for them, some way some how.
If you do, I will smile,
And your car will, be in style!

Damn, I have heard of a few people saying that some dealers don't even change things like filters. Where did you go as there are a few no go Toyota dealers that have been previously mentioned.

I will get Duy or Tash or a mod to move my post to the front page too.

A bit lazy on the weekend but here is the proposed cruise:
22 September - meet @ 10am for a 10:30am getaway as this will be before any grand finals.
In the past, we have done this route in reverse so it's good to change things up a bit.
http://goo.gl/maps/bWyyY
The route takes in Warburton, Marysville, Healesville and Kinglake. All of the roads are great to drive on with speeds from 80kmh to 100kmh all the way. Note that Reefton Spur & Black Spur are now 80kmh and that there are some tree cameras too!

Meeting up at the Currawong Tennis Club as it has plenty of parking and will provide some great photo opportunities. I propose leaving at 10:30 as with a few stops, we should arrive in Marysville around 12:30 - 1 for lunch. The marysville bakery is always awesome! From here we have the Black Spur, Chum Creek Road and Kinglake Road which again are great driving roads and have awesome scenery. Plenty of photo opportunities too and I suggest a photo just before arriving in Marysville where all of the cars can park up with an awesome view behind. I will post a pic of this when I get back home.
Please let me know what you guys think and we'll go from there.

Alternatively, we can catch up on the 31st August, do karting or dinner or both (silhouette & kebabs) on sat night?
-
I'd love to come to that one too unfortunately, I gotta study. Hence why I thought about the Sep one and to give people enough time. I suggest for the Sep eomm we do it on the 29th therefore aligning with the eom!

Hey guys,
Just having a look at this thread and it looks like to might be bumped off the first page of the meets!
And I do remember saying I would organise the next cruise!
So to get everyone back together again, I suggest a cruise on 22 or 29 September mainly because this is after my exam! but it should give everyone enough time to sort out their stuff!
But enough about me, I propose a Warburton to Marysville (Lunch) to Healesville to Kinglake cruise route with further details to come.
Please post your ideas and preferred dates and hopefully we can get everyone back to the monthly meets!

Thanks Kenshin, just wanted to make sure the specs I gave will fit the sportivo.

Hey guys, I have been looking for better pads as I have tracked the car twice this year with one deca day and will probably be doing another track and deca day before the year is out. I just have the bendix pads hence why I got brake fad at 160+ down the front straight at Winton! Fun times! I notice the bendix are 117x59x17 in size while the green stuff are 117x58x17. Will this make a dramatic difference? They are the pads for the zzt231 Celica. Many people have said green stuff is good for track, street, cruises but if you guys have any other suggestions please let me know. Also it appears as if bendix only make pads for the street for the Corolla/Celica. I don't want to go track pads as I don't track enough but need a decent pad for both situations. Thanks
Ps, also will be replacing the fluid too so If u have any info on a high performance fluid too that would be great
Centre console door hinges broken
in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Posted
Hey guys,
Just bringing this good old thread back up. This seems to be a bit of a problem with Toyota not only the Sportivo (as all Corollas had pretty much the same dash, not only in Aus, but the rest of the world too).
Just to let you all know, the centre console now goes for $430 from Toyota not including GST and installation.
How have you guys dealt with it?
Thanks
