Hey all, I have had this stuff in my parents garage for a while and its about time they where put to good use. so there is: Apexi Power FC + FC Commander for the 1zz engine so either corolla 1zz or MR-S Spyder - used in my old 1zz corolla its current tune was able to squeeze 100kw ATW of my lil 1zz Price CHEAP!! head work hmm i was thinking on getting some stage 2 cams and a few extras to get it to rev a bit higher and give a few more wasp's but being married and mortgage and such now no money to play with like that so in the future yea ill get it done but no rush for it right now its running at 100% and i love it i installed the royal purple 5w30 last week and WoW! that make a difference in power so much more responsive its REDICULOUS i love it. yea i dont cruise much anymore i would like to come to the next meet though havnt been to one in a while :D

installed new oil in on tuesday Royal Purple FTW 5w-40 that stuff is like liquid purple gold it really is a god send if you can afford it try it the stuff works you can feel a power increase no doubt about it B) winner

Ok so im at work during the holiday season nothing to do but give you all a quick update the engine mounts are IN!! myself and Lylee and his mate chris from (VW) installed the engine mounts and the polyurothane inserts in the front and rear engine mounts a few weeks ago and the engine is movin nowhere now :D it feels so much smoother on acceleration and there is no axle tramp AT ALL EVVVER i have pushed it quite hard and even on launch up hill just wheel spin no axle tramp so thats a bonus. my headers where fixed up as well as the exhaust as the old engine mounts that where DEAD! killed the headers cracked them and the exhaust in 2 places due to too much engine flex and a really really tiny flex that had no flex :| go figure. so now i need an oil change im thinking of gettig royal purple it is a much more expensive option than getting the penzoil or castrol or something to that effect but my mates tell me it is mos def worth the extra do$$h so we will see how we go in the new year xD if i remember anything else ill post it up -_-

WWOOWW!! Its been a while since ive posted an update on the shado but i guess seeing as i have a bit of time on my hands i would update a lil bit. I have stripped the car internally twice for the drags but both time either something got in the way or the drags where closed when i wanted to go down so i havent taken it down yet. I have found my alternator sounds like a supercharger how loud the whine is and i have bought a 2nd hand one from kingwreck to replace it. I also discovered after seeing Chris from Best mufflers that my engine is dropping so much when accelerating that my engine block is slamming up against the engine mounts and this is causing alot of wear on the engine mounts and i have already changed them once dont want to do it again and again soooo. I spoke to a friend of mine whos a massive torana v8 man he owns one and has pretty much only ever driven his v8 beast his whole life so knows alot about preventative measures for engine rock he suggested an engine brace plate that is on the big v8s and the v8 supercars I said he is a nutter and he laughed it off but we came to the conclusion of upgrading the mounts and including some braces to prevent the engine from moving at all. So i have bought a set of polyurothane engine mounts and sway bar mounts for under the car i have also looked into getting a set of engine braces to attach to the front of the chassis and weld to the engine block to stop the engine from moving almost at all so we can get more power to the ground muuch quicker. soo i have the engine mounts at home with the alternator and sway bar mounts all bought from the ever awesome monkeyWrench racing and myself and Lylee and a mechanic mate of his are installing them this sunday. in the next few weeks ill be heading down to the guys at best mufflers and get my headers fixed because ohh yea forgot to say this.... My headers cracked 3 out of 4 due to a super small flex i believe it was 1.5inches no more than 3 fingers long and because of the engine slamming into the engine mounts and the flex not being long enough the headers couldnt take it and cracked, causing my exhaust to sound like a flapping can at the back of a wedding car. NOT GOOD So the guys are going to take the headers off weld it all up and install a good quality flex and with the engine mounts and sway bar polyurothane mounts installed i should have a better setup and THEN finally ill be ready for the track. so there is my quick update i dont have any pics but i guess i can whip out the iphone and take a few pics of the mounts and the install this weekend if i remember. stay tuned ..... engine braces coming real soon :)

As prep you can get a scourer and hot water or some sort of acid/grime cleaner and clean the sh!te out of the callipers also some light grit sand paper will work as well just to get it completely clean if you want to do the centre hub where the wheels sit inbetween the rotor and the tim that bit in the middle you can sandpaper that as well with some roughter grit sandpaper then rub it down with a rough towel then with some light grit finish it off for a bit more of a smoother finish rub it down with a towel blow any excess away with either some compressed air or compressor if you have one if you want to be pedantic and then just spray away obdviously you need to tape and mask it all up around the wheel arch if its a windy day or just around the caliper and suspension and stuff if its not windy. so yea does that help ;)

Lol at colours and badges adding power always a good joke anywayz for a true answer to you runx1.0 I would say you can look at what colours you have available to you as i wasnt able to paint my calipers gold for a really long time as the places i looked never had it in the heat proof paint or the caliper paint itself. so go to your supercheap autotune repco or local uber japo car place and see what colours they have and have a shop around see what kinds of paint they are and what colours look good dont expect it to be all that bright for it to look as it looks on the can as it is going on the rough metal of the calliper and within a day it will be covered in brake dust and other crudd but it will look pretty shmick once its done have fun mate.

spotted yesterday on lyons road at about 3:45pm yesterday white pre facelift ascent with cannon xhaust and some aftermarket rims didnt get a good look as they where spinnin lolz 2 guys in the car i passed as they where turning left off lyons before five dock shops.
