the bolts on the chassis has start to rust a little. used soda to clean off the acid.. and the rust kinda disappeared for now..

the guy at repco was shocked, "thats a very small battery, does it have enough power?" :P

its so small that.. i have nowhere to put my hid ballast....

i guess i need to buy the CAI really soon!! more SPACE hehehe

The terminal size should be fine, u may have got the + and - terminals the wrong way round as one is bigger than the other ;)

Chemistry 101

Get a bucket of water.

Add in a generous amount of vinegar.

Dip a dish-washing sponge in solution. Wipe over affected parts of car (wearing gloves is advised, double layer if possible).

Vinegar neutralises acids.

Rinse affected areas after washing, otherwise your bay will smell for a while afterwards, and seagulls may fall in love with you.

went to bunnings y'day.....asked how to remove the rust and all... i sounded hard and time consuming....

remove rust... and wipe it with some crap.. leave it for 2 hours... then prime it... wait for a few hours again (or possibly repeat the prime)... then respray. and the worst thing of all.. he said.. if i apply the prime onto the wrong surface... it fuks up the whole thing and rust even more...

and all these products cost around $4x

id rather pay Toyota i guess...
