  1. To get the original fob to work aswell you need to push all the fobs after the "turn the key 3 times" procedure. That will program all fobs to the same frequency. IIRC you can have upto 4 remotes programmed at one time. Unfortunately if you have a pre 2004 Avalon then you are restricted to a single button fob. Post 2004 is when they changed to 2 button units. Hope this helped. :)
  2. Don't know where these Toyota's are getting their prices from...Retail is only $740 for the parts (lamps + surrounds, no stalk). I think they may have been having a bad day! I'm pretty sure we had a customer get some done and the Auto Elec charged $160 to fit so $900 drive away would sound about right. Expensive - yes. But what Genuine part isn't? Just read the whole thread. If you can get the lamps from China you'll save a bucket load. They're Gen, its just that Rudd hasn't put his bit on the cost! ;)
  3. You are right with what you've heard Luckyone. Its something to do with the mounting points not being able to withstand the movement of a bouncing bullbar. If you were to drive only on perfect freeway there wouldn't be a problem. Who does that in the King off the Road? The new brakets hold the bar on in about 3 more points from what I understand. Get em checked all you LC owners. Better than running over your own $2000 bullbar. :)
  4. Is that $105 each flap? Meaning $210 total? Thats bollocks. They are $160ish for a set of 4 matching. I never understood why they fitted the vehicle with only rears and then sold the Accessories as a set of 4. <_< Why not just sell the remaining 2...... I would snap up that Nudge Bar at $710. They retail at $825.
  5. Temporary fix would be a can of Belt Grip. CRC product in a green can with black lid IIRC. Will stop the belt from slipping. Of course you should get it checked, especially if it gets worse, but BG should fix the "faint" slipping.
  6. Any idea what it is that needs repairing? Rack, pump, hoses etc.
  7. If someone needs one of these I may be able to get a couple. PM me for more details.
  8. Just to clear this up for people - this recall applies to only 4,716 vehicles World wide. If your Rolla was BUILT between 29/06/2007 and 27/08/2007 then take it and get it checked. If yours was built outside of these dates, theres nothing to worry about. B) Oh, and it has nothing to do with noisy shafts. Toyota beleive that there may be a few shafts out there that the "material hardness" is not upto spec. Meaning the long term durability may be affected.
  9. They are plastic as stated above. They are a Genuine Accessory. RRP $71.50. I can sell you a set (of 4) for approx $60, you still have to get them painted though.
