  4. so im guessing th dyno day is not going ahead? would've been interested to see wot my car makes compared to when it was brand new......
  5. yes....no holdens aloud.. kidding i dont think it matters, however im not a modirator so not up to me
  6. Anyone who deliberately tints their windows darker than legal and then drives on the road is an idiot, plain and simple. And I see nothing wrong with the police trying to get idiots off the road. For once this is an announcement to NSW drivers that doesn't effect anyone who isn't an idiot (unlike say the suspension laws that were recently knocked back), so I don't see the concern I disagree with you hiro. I got my tints at 20% and I don't believe that I'm an idiot driver or is proud of having darker than legal tints. And I know many people who have gotten darker tints to help with the heat especially in black cars. But yes just my opinion i also disagree with u hiro about it not affecting everyone. just like the suspension laws. if a cop sees a P-plater car at night with dark tints they will still pull them over even if it is legal. Its like saying that all P-platers are street racers.. I dont know if ur on ur full licence but police treat u differently when ur on ur P's even if ur not doing anything wrong. the other week i was tailed by a police car for 40minutes, i had one passanger and was doing under the speed limit. little things that the police try to do to stop the people who are idiots affect EVERYONE.
  7. looks great man.....can u take a couple of pics of the whole car for us?
  8. Put us down for a very likely......thats a nice long drive. I want other camry drivers to come aswell
  9. is this legal? cause i always wanted to do it to mine but im not sure if there will be trouble with the coppa's oo and also wot did u do with ur standard wheels?
  10. change the topic to strut bar....lol and i got the same problem with the gen 4 v6, seems to be an issue with clearence over the manifold..
  11. my bad lol. its not 19, but now i can't remember if it was 16 or 17.....anyways the whiteline is 20mm yea? and r the whiteline coils any good? and do u know how much they lower the car by? sorry if my noob questions are getting annoying, just tell me if they r lol
  12. wots OBD i saw the fuse for it the other day when i was fixing my central locking, sat there for a good 10minutes thinking of possible abreviated words but got me stumped lol
  13. how much would it cost to get it couriered down...lol i would drive to brissy to get it, how thick is it? and do u have ur old coilovers? Its too big for Auspost. And courier costs heaps unfortunately. It'll be easier if you find a wrecker with it in stock. And unfortunately i dont have my old set of suspension anymore (not coil overs), I sold them a while back, had kings superlows + stock shocks. how much u pay for the superlows? make an difference to the handling? and how thick is the touring sway compared to the others...mine is 19mm stock
  14. how much would it cost to get it couriered down...lol i would drive to brissy to get it, how thick is it? and do u have ur old coilovers?
  15. the only thing stopping me from getting new suspension is the cost. on a standard camry is it the shocks or the springs that are the major downfall. cause i could possible change one of them.....
  16. mk well its clear that i dont need the rebuild done, lol wot about the suspension if i go to a wrecker and get a higher model one will it be different? i got a csi
  17. lol thats morre than i thought it would be....wot is involved in a rebuild? edit just read lateralus' response..shame about the suspension is ther a difference between gen 4 models ie touring, csi, grande stiffness?
  18. Hey guys, you all know by now wot car i have....i hope. anywho i was wondering my cars got 216xxx km on the clock, and is due for service at 219. is it worth it to have an engine rebuild, it doesn't have anything wrong with it (its a toyota :D). Just wondering wot the benefits of having a rebuild are, will it perform better? last longer? run smoother? more econonical? better acceleration? and costs involved. and wot an engine rebuild actually consists of doing.....lol also while im on the topic of performance, does anyone know is the gen 5 stivo suspension will fit on my gen 4? and if anyone is selling, prefer just the back ones but fronts wouldn't be bad either. thanks all
  19. oops acidently posted twice
  20. wot ur saying makes sense, but the light didn't blow lol.....got me stumped it just turned off and didn't come back
  21. hey guys, thanks for the input. that night i got home and checked the door fuse...was fine, checked the power fuse was fine. i eventually got very frustrated with it and checked every fuse possible. it was the 'DOME' fuse in the engine bay. i thought that the interior light blowing a couple of hours before the central locking went was a complete coinsidence, turns out we were wrong. fixed now, will turn my attention to the interior light, see why it caused the fuse to blow, will give u an update if u like
  22. looks good.. :D considering it for my car btw u know alot about camrys can u have a read of my other post? in the camry section about the central locking.....
  23. Will the standard aurion wheels fit on a gen 4 camry?
  24. thanks for the help, i'll try it when i get home. if it is one of the fuses, is there a logical explanation as to y it would blow? i haven't done anything out of the ordinary however, now that i think of it the interior light was playing up a couple of nights ago and its blown aswell...the night the central locking stopped. not at the same time though. btw the fuses that ur talking about...in the engine bay or driver footwell?
  25. damn can't make this one either, saturdays r gay for me, make them on sundays from now people.... have fun guys btw where the hell r the camry drivers, go out and make me proud dont let the aurions and corollas take over TOCAU
