Even if you do have to end up spending $1000 to fix up a problem its still cheaper in the long run than buying another car. I'd put all the money in my name towards a camry going longer than an old European.

It tells you how to programme the remote in the user manual. From memory you have to turn the key from OFF to ON three times within 10seconds then the security light on the speedo should stay on then simply press the button of the new remote and hey presto. I have no idea why toyota would charge you that much money for something like that, i would be speaking to the manager about the issue, but its up to you.

Im 90% postive that our cars dont have a auto transmission cooler. Thats why Anthony broke his gearbox when he supercharged it and tried to launch it but held the revs at the line for a little too long. In saying that it doesnt need a tranny cooler, i give my car a hard time...actually ive been giving it a very hard time for the last 60,000kms with not a single problem. Service it up at the correct intervals up to 200000km makig sure you fix anything that does arise immediatly so it doesnt creat another problem. After 200000 i reccomend a service every 5000-10000 depending on your driving style and driving conditions.

Is there really that much point in spending all that money to make the car look 'stock' why not make it more unique? there are enough sportivos out there...make people remember yours for being different. If your spending that the money may aswell UPgrade?

I'm pretty sure the Gen 4.5 will fit our Gen 4s....someone confirm? I remember someone saying a little sanding might be needed in the bottom corner. How desperate are you for the lights? If you can afford to get them new, then the Gen4 lights new are pretty clear but up to you. best bet would be to call around a few wreckers

Couple of things: 1 - You should update your personal information, so we know which state your in that way we can give you some advice on places to go. 2 - You looking for new or second hand? 3 - Best bet would be wreckers or ebay. Toyota genuine are around $220 each from memory.

I have a 98 CSi with 245000 kms on it. Never had a single problem with it. As long as you service it correctly (for me its every 5000kms) it should last you a while. There are a few things to consider however, No ABS brakes, electric windows, airbags etc so check the price of a higher model if you want those extras.

Not true, pretty much the only difference will be the cooler air with the CAI with will give you a little more power than the SRI but even then its hardly noticeable. You may also get a slight change in induction noise depending on your setup. My current setup screams just as loud as a SRI but in a much deeper tone, and without the drawbacks. Trial and error and at the end of the day its your car, each to their own.

Not to mention that an unboxed pod is illegal in NSW...even then i know a few guys who have been defected when their pod was fully inclosed!

Cold box will be better for performance, especially if you drive in traffic alot to avoid heat soaking your engine. Short ram will be cheaper though...
