  1. I had the problem that stylsh mentioned, replaced it and stil had the issue but it probably is the bulb holder. Currently everything works but randomly it'll stop.

  2. What i did was take the park lights out of the original lights, and then take the bulbs out of the little plastic base solder the headlight wire into that. Then plug them straight in. I didnt really adjust anything with the headlights and they seem fine. I have regular halogen ones. Make sure you have the positive and the negative leads right before you solder tho

  3. I doubt its mechanical, i dunno bout the 2005 model but on mine if you try locking the door from inside there should be no horn or hazards. But anyway, the fact that it stopped after resetting the ecu and clock etc makes me think that its more software related. Dunno how thats possible but did u try doing wat u did before to fix it?

  4. My mistake mate, i didnt realize you were talking bout an 87! Im so used to toyotanation forums where models are grouped and assumed urs was a 3rd or 4th gen! Sorry.

Here's a wiring diagram for yours...not a diagram exactly but its what i could find

    http://www.modifiedlife.com/car-stereo-rad...7-toyota-camry/

But what i was getting at was that there might be 2 wires for the antenna, one for FM and one for AM...so if there was say a wire that connects the antenna to the head unit, and u havent checked that wire then its prolly that. Im still lookin for a proper wire diagram for ya, ill post it when i get it.

    My apologies again!!

  5. Im not looking to supercharge or turbo, my project is something completely home made...what i need this info for is for two reasons:

1)To make sure that my project doesnt go above this rating

2)If it is actually that low of a rating, then i wanna look into replacing headers

After this ill be looking into how much torque the automatic transmission can take

  6. Its not the equipment thats faulty that obvious lol, what you should do is plug an antenna directy into the signal slot at the back of the unit...if it works then faulty wiring between the head unit and the antenna at the back is your problem

    Edit:

I just looked over circuit diagrams, and it looks like theres two wires that are both for antenna signal, im guessing one is AM and the other is FM. The FM wire must be snapped somewhere

  7. Hey guys, ive been looking around for a software to replace itunes. I hate the way it does things and how restricted it is. I had to format my laptop the other day and now itunes just gives me error after error...and all i want to do is put a couple of apps on. As im sure most of the people on here have ipods and probably hate itunes...anyone know of a good subtitute?

  8. I was looking for this section and didnt find one, we all know ebay houses tonnes of *******. Would be helpful if a section dedicated to ebay links to help others.

I apologize if the forum does have one ;)
